Krishna from top of the hill was watching the pyres of Upapandavas with Sagarika and Draupadi on the either side.
"Behold the sunrise of a new era." Krishna said looking at the sun rising behind the Pandavas.
"But our generation has been annihilated." Draupadi said sadly.
"Not yet sakhi." Krishna said.
"What do you mean ?" Draupadi asked.
"The children of Sagarika and Arjun are still there." Krishna said.
"My friend its time for you to call for them and probably to meet someone again." Krishna said keeping a hand on Sagarika's shoulders.
"Again ? Who govind ?" Sagarika asked.
"You will see." Krishna smiled.
"Sagarika call for them now, I can't wait to see them." Draupadi said smiling.
"Sakhi I think you should also accompany her. You also need to meet that certain someone." Krishna said.
"Alright." Draupadi agreed.
They both were confused as to whom Krishna wants them to meet. Draupadi and Sagarika made their way to the river Bank to call for Indradev to escort the children.
Sagarika closed her eyes and started praying, Draupadi too joined her. But they both heard a voice that made shocked them to the core.
"Mata." Someone called, the voice was awfully familiar and when they opened their eyes they were shook seeing the familiar face, carrying both Saatvik and Sahana.
"Abhimanyu ?" They both muttered.
"Varchas. Son of Chandradev and Rohini." Varchas said.
"Here are you children Choti Maa, I had a great time with them." Varchas said.
Sagarika held Saatvik and Draupadi held Sahana but they both were staring at Varchas confused. He chuckled.
"Allow me to clear your confusion, Narayan asked me to be born on earth as a mortal but my father agreed to this proposal only on one condition. The condition was that I would not leave him for more than 16 years." Varchas said.
Tears fell from the eyes of Draupadi and Sagarika seeing him, to them it all made sense now. Varchas wiped their tears away and both the ladies hugged him.
"Putra, let's go. You must meet Uttara and Subhadra." Draupadi said.
"I can't Jyesht Mata." Varchas denied.
"Why putra ?" Sagarika asked.
"If I meet them then they will not allow me to leave. I came to meet you both because I know you wouldn't stop me from going back." Varchas said. Draupadi and Subhadra nodded understanding.
"Ab agya de." Varchas said touching their feet.
"Yashashvibava !" Sagarika said.
"Cheeranjeevi bhava !" Draupadi blessed.
They both embraced him one last time and then Varchas smiled disappearing. Draupadi and Sagarika smiled as their heart was satisfied seeing Varchas, their Abhimanyu again.
They were brought out from their thoughts by Sahana pulling Sagarika's hair. Draupadi chuckled holding her.
"Troubling me like just like your father." Sagarika said taking away her hair. Sahana giggled making Draupadi laugh.
"Both your children are a bliss to behold." Draupadi chuckled.
"Yes they are." Sagarika said making both the kids laugh.
