Everyone in the room stared at Xiaojun blankly, and Dejun knew there was one thing he could do. He walked forward, and ripped off the white band-aid Lucas stuck on his neck, covering the puncture wounds, nearly making Hendery scream out loud.
Xiaojun pointed at Lucas's neck, and then looked at Jungwoo. "See? Hicke-" He stopped, staring at the two puncture holes. "What the f-" Hendery buried his face in his hands, and Lucas quickly stuck the band aid back on. "HENDERY YOU'RE UP!" the coach yelled from outside, and Hendery took that chance to escape from the room and run out.
The crowd went wild after seeing Hendery walk into the court, Lucas's first winning jersey worn on him. Ten nearly fell out of his chair after seeing Hendery, and stared at him for a while until he snapped out of it. "Damn, Xiaojun really got a perfect one."
Jungwoo sighed, helping Xuxi up, hobbling with him onto a spot where he could watch Hendery play. "He's not cheating on me." Xiaojun's mind was spiraling out of control. Bite wounds.. He remembered Hendery's cold skin that day when he accidentally touched him. Cold skinned.. The game started, and everyone started cheering, and Dejun watched Hendery start to run. He was hardly traceable, and Xiaojun was having a hard time finding where the hell Hendery was.
About 5 seconds later, someone suddenly jumped up, grabbed the net and slammed the basketball inside, landing back onto the floor gracefully.
"Hen-Hendery?" he stammered, looking at the skinny male who wasn't even sweating, and instead grinning, no, smirking at the guy who knocked Xuxi over. The crowd was completely silent, and only started cheering after they realized what had happened. The game started again, and that was the exact same process. The end of the game was nearing, and Hendery had scored almost 70 points for NCT. Xiaojun was almost sure he didn't even see a single member from Westblood touch the ball after Hendery got it in his hands.
What was outrageous was the boy still wasn't sweating, or panting. He just smiled brightly at the same boy who knocked Xuxi over, and Xiaojun focused on his face. The ball was thrown over to the Westblood member, and Hendery pounced.
Xiaojun flinched back, seeing the wicked smile Hendery had on his face, and the flash of blood red in his eyes as Hendery lept towards the member, who looked just as terrified and dropped the ball. Hendery smirked at him, easily taking the ball and ran over to the net, slamming the ball into the net and dropped down without making a noise, the ending bell sounding just as he hit the floor. 70. Hendery had scored exactly 70 points in the second half of a game. The boy was still sitting on the floor, and when the referee walked over, everyone discovered something. That boy had peed his pants.
Hendery walked back over to Lucas, smiling at his friend. "Well then, won that for you. And got you your revenge. What do I get in return, huh?" Lucas rolled his eyes, smiling happily. "Not like you'll get a kiss from me, donkey."
"What makes you think I'd want one from you, skyscraper?" Jungwoo joined in the laughter, and Xiaojun just stood there, shocked. He focused on Hendery again, and the boy still wasn't sweating.
The red eyes.. Never tiring down... "Vampire..." he whispered. Hendery looked up, sighing at Xiaojun. "And let me guess, you're terrified, disgusted, want to get away from me, about to run to Yang-" Xiaojun ran towards him, and grabbed the vampire, rolling onto the floor with him and kissed him.
"Shut up." Hendery, who never seemed to stop talking, shut up.
By the time they pulled apart, Hendery was gasping for breath. The two of them glanced at the big screen, which was playing their kiss on kiss cam, and Xiaojun's face heated up again. Cheers erupted from the stadium, and this time Ten had stolen the megaphone from the poor cheering captain.
"XIAO DE JUN YOU FINALLY DID GOOD! NOW MAKE SOME BABIES!" Xiaojun actually considered running up there and punching him, until he realized everyone in school heard Ten and saw them kissing. Hendery seemed to realize the same thing, and looked around, spotting Yuta, who just arrived and saw their kiss, his face frozen.
"Oh shit." hendery whispered, poking Lucas. Xuxi looked up, and saw Yuta as well, and sighed. "Ignore him today. It's my big game." Hendery laughed a little, and smiled at the giant. "Nope, it's you and your boyfriend's big day."
"Wha-"
"The-"
Hendery smiled, and ran away. Lucas glanced at Xiaojun. "What does that lovesick donkey mean?" Dejun shook his head as well, not knowing what was going on. And suddenly Hendery carried in what Xiaojun was sure to be the biggest cake he had seen in his life. Someone who was clearly not very good at drawing had scribbled down the words "HAPPY 6TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO LUWOO, THE CUTEST COUPLE IN LOVE"
Hendery smiled, setting down the cake on the bench. "Let me guess which two idiots forgot their own anniversary." Jungwoo and Lucas both stared at each other for a while, and their eyes widened. "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Lucas yelled, turning to bang his head on the wall.
Jungwoo didn't move for a few seconds, and Xiaojun wondered whether the person in front of him was actually jungwoo or did someone freeze the tv screen.
"OH MY GOD WE NEED TO RESERVE A DINNER TABLE! A-S-A-P AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!" he yelled, doing the hand signatures and making Hendery laugh. "Hm, I think I know which idiots. And calm down, why do you think I was gone for so long. I booked a table for the two of you at the fancy restaurant down the street, they have an amazing night view. And it's at 7:30. Booked under the name Huang Xuxi. Your suits are in the changing room, now go! Forgetful giant and forgetful puppy."
Lucas grinned at his best friend, at a loss for words. "Hendery- I- I-" "If you say I love you I will slap you back to mars." Hendery replied, hiding the tears in his eyes. "NOW GO BEFORE YOU TWO MISS THE RESERVATION!" Lucas had gotten a walking stick from the staff, and was using it to walk to the changing room.
"You really thought I was havin-" Xiaojun covered his mouth before he could say that word. "-with Lucas?"
"What happened to the other method of getting me to shut up?" They both didn't know that the kiss cam was still on them.
A few seconds later, a gasp spread through the crowd as they stared at the big screen.
Hendery was holding his face, and Xiaojun had just slapped him. Again.
