"Hendery-" Xiaojun was crying, yet there was nothing he could do. He could only hug his boyfriend's corpse tighter, and beg that all this wasn't real. No matter how real he knew it was, he could only wish and dream that it wasn't.

After around fifteen more minutes, everyone else got here. Lucas stood there, staring at Hendery's dead body. It couldn't be real. 2 hours ago Hendery had ran onto a plane for him to get him to not leave Korea, and here he was lying on the ground dead. All because he tried to leave, if he hadn't gotten on that plane, no one would've taken Dejun, and Hendery wouldn't be threatened to be there, and he wouldn't be dead..

Baekhyun stood, glancing at Taemin's ashes. "I'm sorry, old friend... Goodbye.." Xiaojun leapt up, grabbing Baekhyun. "Hendery's still alive, right? He didn't turn to ashes, he has to be-" Baekhyun threw Xiaojun off, growling. "Don't touch me. And he's dead. His mixed genes lets his body stay intact.

The king stared at his grandson's body, his gaze turning sorrowful. "I should've never let you go to that school, I knew this was going to happen..." Dejun stared at Baekhyun.

"What do you mean you knew?" Baekhyun closed his eyes in defeat, a tear falling down his face. "I saw a vision. It's a trait that runs in the family, and I saw him with you. He looked so happy, and I swore I'd protect him and you, until the vision showed me the next scene. He died trying to save you, and although I told myself it wouldn't happen, that my visions were almost never accurate, this happened." Xiaojun glared at the king, who seemed to age so much in a matter of seconds.

"THEN YOU SHOULD'VE TOLD ME AND I WOULD'VE LEFT HIM! IF IT SAVED HIM, I WOULD'VE LEFT HIM!" Lucas bowed his head, keeping his tears to himself as he stared at the scene unfold in front of him.

Hendery was dead. Completely dead. And he had promised to go to Xuxi's last game.. There were so many things that they didn't get to do together, and Lucas didn't even get to tell him.. If god gave him a chance, he would do all these things right, he would tell Hendery, he would support his best friend no matter what happened, and he would've protected the prince better. 

A mark appeared on his back without him knowing, a tattoo of a phoenix carved between his shoulder blades shimmered to existence, glowing slightly on his back, then faded away, no one noticing it.

Taeyong and Jaehyun knelt down in front of their son, crying their eyes out as they saw the angelic smile on his face, begging that this didn't happen. Baehkyun glanced at the van, then frowned. "He's not going to fit in. We'll come back tomorrow, and we'll pick him up in a proper funeral van. "YOU'RE JUST GONNA LEAVE HIM HERE?" 

Dejun was shouting at the King now, it seemed like the poor boy had lost some part of himself. Baekhyun frowned at Xiaojun. "Yes, it's a passing way of vampires whose bodies don't turn to ashes, we leave them surrounded in nature, then bury them the next day. And you have a lot of vampire laws to learn, now that Taemin turned you." The Vampire King gestured at the bite wound on Dejun's neck, then walked back into the van.

Lucas was still standing there, numb. Sicheng and Yuta coaxed Dejun into the van, and Jaehyun helped Taeyong up, both of them looking like they wouldn't ever smile again.

"Lucas are you-" The human shook his head, walking over to Hendery. "Go." he muttered, staring at Hendery's face. Baekhyun lowered his head, then ordered the driver to start the car.

After the car left, Lucas kneeled down next to Hendery, touching his face gently. "Hendery... please.. You've made so many miracles in my life, you saved my family, you saved my life on multiple occasions, both spiritually and physically, so please, make one last miracle, both for me and for yourself. Don't be dead, okay? You said love is the most powerful thing in the world, didn't you? Well, please let it be powerful enough to bring you back. I don't care about the consequences, I'll live with anything if you come back..."

"I love you, Hendery, please come back to me so I can actually tell you and let you hear me, please, I need you. Dejun needs you, your parents need you. We all love you, Hendery. Come back... Back on the floor, Hendery's finger twitched, tapping the letter.

"Xuxi.."
