Two days passed in the blink of an eye, and Xiaojun headed to Hendery's house right after lunch to get ready for the banquet. "Donkey?" Xiaojun tapped on the door, waiting for his boyfriend to open the door. But he was greeted with Xuxi's smiling face.

"Hi Dejun! You're here!!" Xiaojun furrowed his brows. "Oh um, hi Lucas, are you going to the banquet as well?" Lucas nodded, grinning. "Hendery's grandpa wants to see me. Your boyfriend's upstairs." Xiaojun still didn't understand why Lucas was here, but he walked up the stairs anyway. He was greeted by someone diving onto him and nearly crushing him with a hug immediately, and started laughing.

"Look who's excited to see me!" Hendery smiled from on top of him, hugging Xiaojun. "Dejun, remember, tonight, no matter what you do. Don't leave my side, okay? Some vampires can't control themselves, and I don't even want to talk to that werewolf family grandpa set up for me."

"He set up a-" Hendery sighed, pouting as he pulled away from Dejun. "Yeah, apparently he's still ruling and he wants me to marry a prestigious werewolf family to unite us or whatever. I'm planning to tell him about us tonight, and make sure you have your ring on." Hendery took Xiaojun's hand, kissing it, then kissed the ring. "I love you so much..." he muttered, closing his eyes.

"I know Sicheng told you about us being unfaithful when it comes to humans. I just want you to remember, Dejun. I love you and no one and nothing is going to change that. I'll love you until the day I die, and my soul will carry my love for you up to the sky, and I'll be your lighthouse when you need me. I probably won't go to heaven but I'll raise hell just to save you."

No one knew how much power that sentence held. No one.

Xiaojun smiled at Hendery, kissing his forehead. "I love you too, donkey. Now I need to shower or your grandpa will consider me filthy." Hendery smiled slightly, ruffling his boyfriend's hair. "Go, and no, you're not filthy. I'll shower in my parent's bedroom, you shower in the bathroom in my room, go."

Hendery grabbed the bag containing Dejun's suit, handing it over to Xiaojun, and then grabbed his own, going to shower. Dejun sighed, and showered, washing himself clean until he felt bloody raw and someone had snatched his skin off him, then dried himself and his hair, changing into the suit, spraying on a tiny bit of cactus perfume then walked out.

Guan Heng wasn't finished yet, so Xiaojun just sat on the bed, waiting for his boyfriend, and he felt his eyes droop, falling into the world of dreams.

Hendery walked out of the shower, changed into his suit, then walked back into his room, seeing Xiaojun sprawled on the bed.

There was a weird tingle in his body, and Hendery tried to recognize the feeling, but couldn't. He wanted to walk over and caress Xiaojun's beautiful face and memorize his every feature, but his phone buzzed, and Hendery had no choice but to pick up the call.

"Hendery! Listen to me very closely, something bad happened, our astronomist messed up our calendar, the blood moon isn't next month, it's tomorrow, and we have the banquet today- so please watch yourself, you cannot lose control on the banquet, take Xuxi for blood."

Hendery hung up, realizing what the tingle was. "So the blood moon is tomorrow?" Dejun had woken up at some point, and he was glancing at Hendery worriedly. "Yeah, don't worry about it, it's not your concern. I just need to drink some blood first, okay? Wait for me here." Before Hendery walked out, he smirked and whispered. "Oh and did I mention you look bloody ravishing in that suit. How do I put this correctly.. You look good enough to eat, pet."

Xiaojun's face flushed again, and Hendery had disappeared before he could slap him. Hendery made his way down to the kitchen, and took out a bottle of frozen blood, sighing as he glanced at the red liquid. Frozen animal blood tasted horrible, but he needed it to survive.

"Why are you taking that vile disgusting stuff when you have me?" Lucas asked, leaning against the door frame.

"Um, because I don't want to drain you?" Lucas scoffed, rolling his eyes. "You barely even take a quarter of a pint of blood every time you drink my blood and you think that'll drain me. Come on, don't torture yourself with that stuff. Lucas unbuttoned his shirt, waiting for Hendery to bite him. "Fine."

The vampire walked closer, sliding out his fangs. "Where? Neck, or collarb-" "Neck." Hendery looked confused. "Won't it be exposed then?" "Do you want me to walk into a vampire and werewolf-filled banquet without looking like I'm claimed?"

Hendery nodded. "Makes sense." The vampire leaned forward and bit Lucas's neck, but something was different. The giant had no fear in his veins this time, and something else was coursing through his veins. A gasp was pulled out of Lucas's mouth, his fingers gripping Hendery's hair.

"Take more if you need it, Hendery... You don't always have to be in control." Lucas's voice came out nearly like a moan, confusing Hendery, but the taste was getting to Hendery's head so he didn't think too much about it. Xuxi's blood was undeniably sweet, and fresh human blood always left him wanting for more, so he let himself take a bit more than his usual amount, earning a satisfied moan from Xuxi until he pulled away, retracting his fangs.

"You didn't stop me, I could have killed you!" Lucas barely looked fazed as he ignored the blood running out from the wound. "And I trust you."

"For god's sake clean up-" "So that's how vampires feed." Xiaojun muttered curiously. Lucas walked closer to Hendery. "Just lick it off, you clearly want more blood." Hendery muttered a swear for a few seconds, and then gently licked the blood off Lucas's neck without his fangs, tasting the candy-like substance in his mouth.

"Now go get dressed you giant, I'm supposed to take two humans to the banquet and keep the both of you safe. I can already tell that this is already going to turn out a mess."

Lucas let out a satisfied grunt as he walked back upstairs, and Xiaojun approached Hendery. "Do you always take blood from Xuxi?" he asked. "Yeah, he's my bloodbag. And my best friend. Quite a hard job, tackling both." Xiaojun chuckled slightly, jealousy flashing in his eyes.

"Why not me then? Why don't you drink my blood?" Hendery stared at him for a while. "If I did, I wouldn't be able to stop. I'd drink until I'd drain you of blood and by the time I turn back human you'll be dead and lifeless. That's the issue with human mates." Xiaojun smiled slightly. "The mate thing is still kind of confusing." Hendery hummed an agreement, and some boldness suddenly jolted into Dejun.

He pinned Hendery to the counter he was leaning on, staring into the vampire's eyes. "Why does he get neck kisses when I don't? Dejun whined, making Hendery freeze in place. Did this human know how fucking adorable he looked right now?

"I'm your boyfriend, why does he get kisses and not me!" Xiaojun pouted, nearly making Hendery coo out loud. Something was triggered inside of him, and in a second he had pinned Dejun to the counter and unbuttoned his shirt. "Pet, if you want them so much, you could always just tell me." the vampire whispered into Xiaojun's ear, making him shiver in fear and excitement.

"Hen- hendery- the banquet- I was just- um- playing-" Hendery moved slightly back away from Xiaojun, glaring at the male who was sweating in that goddamn sexy suit that hugged his figure too well. "Playing?" he growled, panting slightly as he felt the bulge on his pants grow.

"Well pet, look what your playing fucking did."
