When Sterling finnally landed on top of me in wolf form, I was ready. My white she-wolf ready to fight back for her independence. Sterling growled at me and snapped his huge gleming teeth. His wolf was a beautiful black color, his muscles were long and lean, his eyes were gleaming with fierceness.
Sterling kept trying to gain control over me and I wouldn't let him have it.
He did not own me.
He was not my mate.
He can't control me.
With this anger fueled me to push away the alpha's son and over power him. I was now on top and bit down on his shoulder, he howled in pain but my wolf howled in pride from taking control from the alpha's son. I was about to bite him again when Tom starting pushing me away.
"Come on, princess. Let him go, let's go for a run or something." Tom spoke to me.
Turning, I growled at him.
"Now that's enough, Raina." Said Alpha Nick.
"Yeah kiddo, get off please." My father agreed. Getting off of Sterling, I finally looked down at what I had done to Sterling. A patch of his black fur was darker with blood and there was a huge bite mark, I felt bad even though I first felt as if he desevered it.
"He did deserve it." Tom said like he read my mind, my wolf smiled inward knowing her mate agreed with her and that she found her true mate. Tom shifted right there next to me. I licked Tom's muzzle and his tongue came out in a wolfish grin.
My father opened the door to let us run out into the woods. After we were far from the cabin, I shifted back into my human form and ran. The wind whipped my hair back and my laughter got lost in the wind. Tom chased me off a small cliff into a lake. I quickly swam to the middle, throwing head back i smiled up at morning skies. Tom came up behind me and whispered into my ear, "You look beautiful in the morning light."
Turning to him, I looked into his eyes and said what I've kept bottled in: "I love you."
