You Had Me At "Stop Peeing On My Yard!"

Part 6

I woke up with arms around me and I was about to yell but a hand covered my mouth.

"Did you forget I stayed?" Tom asks, smiling with his blue eyes shining.

"Oh yeah.." I blush remembering he stayed in my bed all night. I tried to get up from my bed but Tom tightened his arms around me,not letting go. Rubbing my face, I let out a sigh; Tom chuckles next to me, I feel his breath on my neck.

"You're too cute, princess."

"Yeah,yeah. I'm adorable, now let me go."

"Nope!" He pops the P at the end and I hear the smile in his voice,"You're staying here with me." He says snuggling closer. I stiffen next to him. I turn towards the door and see my sister leaning against the door frame and she says,"Momma wants ya'll to head downstairs."she smirks and adds,"Sterling is downstairs with Momma helping her out. Said he wanted to see you." She frowns and leaves, her ponytail bouncing behind her.

"Tell him to leave and come back to bed." Tom says into my shoulder.

"Can't do, it'll worry him too much." I bite my bottom lip.

"You shouldn't care what he thinks."

"I do." I say as I get up quickly and bound out of the bed. I collect some clothes and head towards the bathroom.

"Need any help with that?" Tom asks laughing. Shaking my head, I proceed towards the bathroom. After my shower, I slip on some jean shorts and a black t-shirt. Line my eyes with black eyeliner and leave my hair to flow down my back. I open the door to see Tom waiting for me; already showered, dressed and ready. I was about to ask how but he answers with, "Used your mom's bathroom."

I arch an eyebrow and begin to descend down the stairs. Tom takes my hand, as soon as we hit the last step. Sterling takes me into a big bear hug; turning me in a circle. He places a small kiss on my lips and then is brutally punched in the face by Tom.

"What are you doing, man?" Sterling asks Tom while rubbing his face. I look over at Tom and see his nostrils are flaring, his chest rising heavily. I knew he wants to change and soon. Momma gives me a look and I now I should get Tom out of here.

"Come on Tom, lets go outside?" I smile tentatively up at him as I grab his arm and begin to pull him towards the back door. Tom doesn't resist my touch like I knew he wouldn't, he huffs and puts his arm around my shoulder like he owned me.

"Sounds like a plan, babe." Tom says, kissing my temple. I sigh in relief and my shoulders become a little less tense.

"Raina, I wouldn't be out there alone with him if I were you." Sterling warns.

Tom growls.

"Raina stays here."

"No, she is coming with me. She's mine."

"You don't own her, she is her own person."

"Listen boy, Raina is MY ma-" My kiss cuts off Tom, he groans and pulls me closer, laying his hands at my waist; kissing me as if he would never let me go.

I hear Sterling blow a breath in fustration. I knew it was time for me to stop but Tom had other plans. Next thing I know, a door slams, shaking the house.

I sigh and pull away. Looking down at my feet, I see a tears falling to the ground, touching my face I find that its wet.

I felt so sad like I was missing a part of me. I felt so desolate and alone. Running outside, I jump and hit the floor as a wolf. I howl up at the sky all my sorrows to let everyone know not to bother me.

I ran.

I ran for hours.

I ran to outrun my troubles.

I ran hoping to have an answer to my questions.

I arrive at a part of the woods I've never been too before making me think I was not in our territory anymore.

The alpha wolf stepped out into the clearing, he was huge an gray. Growling he lunged at me and I passed out from fright.

Everything around me turned black and I welcomed unfamiliar darkness.
