-Tom's POV-

I held onto Raina's cold hand and watched her face. Nothing changed as I watched her face.

"Tom? Aren't you gonna go home?" I looked up to see my sister, Kerri with a sympathetic look across her face. I shook my head at her.

"It's been three days Tom and she hasn't moved at all. What if she's gone?" Kerri choked out before tears spilled out,"What if I lose my best friend?" She places her hands over her face as she sobbed.

"You will not ever say those words again. She will live. I won't lose my mate." I growled at her, pointed a finger at her chest.

"I'm sorry Tom but Raina and I were so close."

"No, you are close." I corrected her. Kerri threw her arms around me as she wept. I held my younger sister as she cried for her friend.

After a few minutes, Kerri's sobs quieted to whimpers. She looked up at me, her blonde hair a mess, her mascara was smeared, he blue eyes dull with dark circles around them.

"Tommy, why don't you go home? Go rest, you've been sitting in that hard plastic chair since she's been here."

"No, I can't leave her. My wolf won't let me, not like I want to." I turned towards Raina and still no movement; I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Tom, please come home. If Raina wakes up you'll come back."

"She will wake up!" I snarled at Kerri. She paled and backed up.

"Tommy, please. I know you don't want to leave but you need rest. You won't be any good to her if you aren't."

"Kerri, I said no." She finally left it at that and left the room. Running my fingers through my hair I went to sit with my mate.

"Come on, baby. Open those pretty green eyes." I told her sleeping body.

-Raina's POV-

I heard everything he said.

I listened to him begging for me to wake up.

I listening to him argue with Kerri about going home.

I listened to him sing softly.

It was killing me.

I wanted to speak but I had no control over my body.

I was stuck in what seemed to be a black abyss.

Everytime Tom touched my hand, my arm or my face, I wanted to respond to it. I wanted to place my hand over his if that is what it took for him to be happy. I didn't want him to suffer because I couldn't wake up. My body screamed to comfort my mate.

I screamed in my head but it didn't seem like I would ever be heard.

-Tom's POV-

My head snapped up as I heard her scream. I searched her face, looking for any sign that she had moved or screamed.

I growled in frustration.

No movement.

Was it from the inside?

Our mind link?

"Why won't you don't you wake up, princess? What do I have to do? Give you a kiss to wake you up like some fairy tale?" I asked her sleeping self.

I thought about it for a bit.

Would that work?

It couldn't possibly.

Could it?

I leaned over Raina and placed a soft kiss to her cold lips.

Nothing.

I turned around and punched the wall.

Of course it wouldn't work.

It's some stupid myth.

"Tom?" I heared a faint voice behind me.

I turned around and saw Raina sitting up.

"Raina." I whisper into her hair and took her into my arms.
