CHAPTER 37 - REUNION

Alright guys, just had to update it hehehe.... its going to be awhile until i get back on the part of qingyu cuz i need to go with the flow of the story. Border of Dream World

At the border, there is a bridge and a wall that separates the Dream World and the Dark Territory of Utopia. There's a large river that separates this two continents. And there are guards guarding the gates of Dream World but there's none on Dark Territory because the first thing you will encounter after going into the Dark Territory is the Forest of Creep, which is very dangerous and it is also known as the Dead Forest.

Nothing grows in the Forest of Creep accept for the Poison Pine, Poisonous Mushrooms, Tree of Dead, and other deadly trees and animals. That is why it is call Forest of Creep. Nothing living can survive in that forest. That is why there is no guards or wall needed for the Dark Territory. There's also a divine beast which can purify the dark energy from Dark Territory in the  river. No one dares to cross the river because  of this beast.

This makes it safe for Utopia and their citizens from both territory. On this night, there was movement at the border. There was beast howling everywhere and there's also the sound of screeches. Thick scent of blood which attracts more beasts. The guards stay on their guard as there are movements. Then they saw who is fighting. The guards were shocked. The captain of the guards tried to reconfirm what he sees. He  was shocked and quickly get the commander.

“Commander! Commander! Quickly!! Quickly come!!”

“What! What!!”

“Just come!!!”

“What do you want?”

“Commander look!!” the Commander look at where the captain is pointing. He was shocked.

“Tha-.. that's Joe!!! The special force are alive! Quickly report to the Queen! The rest of you let down the bridge and help them cross over!”

“YES, Commander!!”

The guards let down the bridge and went over to help them fight the beasts and cross the bridge.

“Joe, the bridge is coming down!!”

“Bee, you and I will hold them back while the rest cross the bridge. The rest of you cross the bridge when the guards are here to help! Never look back no matter what!”

“No! We go together!” shouted Neo.

“Just go, don't worry about us. The guards will help.”

“…….. Fine! Don't die!”

“I won't!”

The bridge is down and the guards have come to help. The guards hold the beasts of with Joe and Bee while the others cross the bridge. When there's only 6 people left, the bridge start to be pull. The guards went to the bridge and only Joe and Bee are left to defend.

After killing the last of the beast, they ran towards the bridge. They jump towards the bridge. But a beast suddenly jump and scratch Joe on his back.

“JOE!!”

“Aarrgghh! Splash!” Joe fell into the river. Blood is everywhere. Joe struggles in the river but he's sinking. Suddenly…

“Hmmm……hmm…..hmmmm….” there's humming and light shining in the river. A calm aura spreads over everyone.

“Divine beast! The Divine beast is here! It's here!” one of the guards said.

They watch as the light from the divine beast start to purify the banks of the river. The beasts ran away in hurry as they couldn't stand the divine light of the divine beast. They're also afraid of the divine beast as it is the beast they have to worship as their leader. The divine beast dive in and swim towards where Joe fell.

In the water, Joe saw a glittering light coming towards him. Then he saw a creature that is so beautiful and serene. No words could describe about the creature. It has beautiful glittering scales in rainbow color, an enchanting voice which can make others calm and bewitch by it, fins that spreads like wings dances in the water as it moves, tail that flows beautifully like a dress fluttering by the wind and an aura of light covering its body. Anyone who sees it will be dumbstruck by its appearances alone.

The divine beast swim towards Joe. It circles around Joe twice and stop in front of Joe. By this time, Joe has already pass out as he loses air. The divine beast shine a light at Joe and cure him of the scar from the scratch of the dark beast. A scar from the dark beast is wretched as it has dark aura that lingers on the wounds which makes the wounds incurable and poisonous as time goes by. Only the water from the river that the divine beast resides can cure it. But only if the divine beast has purified the water as its purification power will stay in the water for 2months.

The divine beast creates a bubble and envelop Joe in the bubble. In the bubble, Joe wakes up to breathe air again. When he wakes up, he was stunned. He was looking at the divine beast face to face. The divine beast uses its power to levitate Joe in the bubble towards the surface. Joe shows his gratitude to the divine beast by kowtowing to it. The divine beast seems to understand it and nods at him and swim away. At the surface, Neo who is frantically looking for traces of Joe saw a bubble coming out of the water. He was glad to see that Joe is alright and safe in the bubble. As soon as the bubble touches the bridge, it popped and Joe landed safely on the bridge.

“JOE!! Thank god!... sniff…. You're safe… Sniff… sniff…” Neo ran and hugged Joe tightly.

“It's alright. I'm safe thanks to the divine beast.” Joe reassures Neo and the others.

“Thank GOD!!! I thought you were gone!! Never do that again!!” said Neo.

“Alright! Let’s go and see the Queen!”

They went to the palace to see the Queen and make their report. They were escorted to the palace and they have also been briefed about what happen during their absence? They were shocked to know that they were pronounce as dead and the whole Dream World already mourn for them. They felt a little guilty upon knowing about it but nevertheless, they felt touch as well. Now they know there are people who will mourn for them if they are gone.
