CHAPTER 34 - ORDER

After Reed left Linda’s home, he’s cruising the sky and thinking about what is going to happen next. And he needs to devise a training plan to make Qing ready.

“What to do now….. seems like I need o hurry and get Qing ready! I hope the time won’t come soon enough!”

“Sigh….. now, how do I tell Qing about stopping him from finding his mate? This is going to be hard! He really wants to find it, whoever it is!! His longing to his mate is killing him very much!! Hmmm……” Reed pondering on it.

“Guess I just have to be straight forward! If he gets mad, I can just give him the reason and give him the amulet! Yup! That could work! Well, let’s get back home! I need to have a great sleep to be ready for tomorrow! Qing is getting stronger now and he can control his ability and power very well now! Let’s hope for the best tomorrow!”

Tomorrow comes and Qing is on his way to Dragon Peak for his training with Reed. After a few minutes, Qing has arrived. He sees that Reed is standing by for him.

“Good morning Reed! So, how’s yesterday? Did you get to do what you need to do?”

“Morning Qing! I did! So, how’s your day yesterday? Did you spend it wisely with your family?”

“Yes, I did! The party that my sister arrange are great! Everyone was having so much fun! It has been a long time since we gather around together like yesterday! And we even meet new friends from my twin and one of them is a siren. And guess what! My parents and the sirens parents were old friends! who knew!”

“That’s great! It means they can become allies! And you need those allies! It will be helpful in times of need! Keep that in mind as future king!”

“Yes, Reed! I will!”

“Great! Now, before we start, I have to tell you something!”

“What is it?”

“You haven’t found your mate, yet right? For now, I need you to stop searching and focus on your training!”

“WHAT!!!!! NO!! I WILL NOT STOP!!! YOU CAN’T MAKE ME!!!!! AARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” as Reed expected, Qing went berserk.

“But you have to stop Qing! You need to focus on your training!”

“NO!! If you want me to stop then, I challenge you to a battle!”

“Fine! I accept your challenge! If you win, you can continue your search! But! If I win, you have to stop searching and do what I told you to do!”

“FINE!! Let’s begin!” they begin their battle. The first to land a hit win.

The fight has begun, and some of the dragons in the clan, came to watch the fight. Especially the little ones. The fight lasted for hours. Qing is good at dodging Reed’s attack. And Reed couldn’t be happier to see his training had paid off, but he needs to win this. For Qing and Dayu’s sake.

Hours went by and finally, the battle started to end. Both were tired and Reed manage to land a hit on Qing when Qing got distracted for a second. This makes Reed the winner of this battle and Qing had to follow his order.

“Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Qing shouted in frustration.

“Hah….. hah….. I win Qing! You have to follow my order! You have to stop searching for your mate!”

“But why?! Why must I stop my search!!” Qing said with anger and sadness.

“It’s only for a moments time! When you are ready, you can search for your mate later on…. But now, focus on your training!”

“Urgh!!! Fine! I will focus on my training!”

“Great! Here! Take this amulet! It will help you be calm and control your longing for your mate!” Qing take it and he got a weft of the amulet.

“What is this smell?! It’s so soothing! I can’t get enough of it! It also felt familiar!”

“It’s a mix of essence from herbs and infused into the amulet to calm you down! You need to always wear it to keep you calm! Let’s take a rest and then we can end today’s training and you can take tomorrow off! Get your mind cleared up! We can continue training the next day, alright Qing!”

“Y-yes, Reed!” Qing wears the amulet and he cannot stop wafting the smell on it. It makes him feel comfortable and relax.

After a little rest, Qing flew back home in a rush. As soon as he reached the castle, he quickly cleans himself and stay in his room. He’s laying on his bed and holding the amulet. He’s pondering over the amulet as he’s wafting the essence in it. Then, Qing doze off.

“Hello Qing! Nice to meet you! Do you remember me? We’ve cross path once!”

“W-who are you? I don’t remember meeting you!”

“Of course, you do! Don’t you remember my scent!”

“Your scent!? Sniff…… this scent…. It seems familiar to me…. I feel like I know this scent! But I don’t remember where???”

“Hahaha…….. it’s alright Qing! You will find me soon enough! Right now, why don’t you relax with me! Come here and lay down beside me! We are having a little picnic here! Just the two of us! Let’s enjoy ourselves together!”

“Alright! I do love the scenery here! It’s very beautiful!”

“Yes! Yes, it is! This is the place where we meet Qing! It will be our memorable place! Now, let’s have some tea while admiring the view! You can tell me everything that has happen to you! I will listen to you quietly!”

“Alright, thanks!” so Qing tells him or her everything that has happen.

Qing doesn’t know who he’s talking to because he can only see a silhouette of a person. But because of the calmness, Qing can tell everything about him towards the stranger that he never met before.

That evening, Qing had a splendid dream. He was asleep from lunch time until evening. Qing has been missing his lunch and high tea. Then, when Qing woke up, he felt refresh. The maids then ask Qing if he wants to eat something so they can bring it to his room.

Qing surprisingly said no. He said that, he is already full. He just wants to be left alone for a while. They can call him during dinner time. The maids left and Qing ponders on the dream he just had.

In that dream, he felt calm and serene. And the weirdest thing is that, he felt like he knew the person in his dream but at the same time he doesn’t. This get him to think on who is in his dream. Then, he just relies about something, why is he full even though he has been asleep for half a day without having his lunch and high tea.

Little did Qing know, that the food he ate in his dream are actually life forces in the dream world. Every time Qing eats the food in the dream world, he will gain life forces which makes him feel energetic in the real world.

But there are consequences. Qing can be trapped in the dream world by other dwellers of the dream world. In the dream world also exist the good and bad sides of it. One must be careful in the dream world.
