CHAPTER 25 - LIFE

Morning sun arise and Dayu arise too. Dayu has started to get ready for his training again. After he is ready, Dayu walk towards the river and near the forest to meet up with Blue.

Dayu has set a place near the bushes to meet up with Blue without any prying eyes. This way he can keep Blue a secret from the villagers. Only Mr. Hoe and Aunty Mei knows about Dayu. Dayu will tell the others when he is ready.

Dayu has been training for weeks and now he is capable of controlling and projecting a certain amount of power smoothly. He can also will his power to do certain tricks like moving things, making fire, and, gust of wind.

That is about all Dayu could do for now. He will keep on training so he can control his power more and help the villagers. Dayu is using his power for the good of the villagers. He was hoping that he can help the villagers with his powers.

The Castle

“Mother! I’m bored….. I want to play with my brothers but they are all busy with their training….. It has been 2 weeks that I’m playing alone! I want to play with them please..!!!!”

“Wang JIe!! You know you can’t!! Your brothers are busy training to become the next leader of the kingdom…. You know how important this is to them. You are a princess yourself Jie. When you are the same age as them, you will begin your training too.”

“Uuhh……. Hmmm….. but I want to play with them… I miss them, Mother! I miss my brothers!!” Jie said sulking.

“Even your annoying brother Qing?....” Queen Hua raised her eyebrow.

“Hmm…. I guess… even though he is annoying but I miss him too…… I miss his annoying attitude…… hehehe…..” Jie giggles in amusement.

“Hmm….. I will try to ask you father. Maybe we can have one whole day for a family gathering. We can do activities together and spend together as a family. It has also been a long time since we last spend time together as a family….. Alright! I will ask your father!” Queen Hua smile while patting Jie’s hand assuring her.

“YAY!!! I can’t wait for it!! I hope father will allowed it…!!” Jie said with joy and then pout a little thinking that his father might not approve it.

King’s Study

The king is doing his work as usual in the office. He would be reviewing the papers about the troubles of the kingdom and also other things. This help the king to keep track of what’s going on around the kingdom.

*knock*knock* “Your Majesty! Here are the reports on the princes.” Chen bow and hand the papers to the king.

“Ah! Yes, thank you, Chen! You may go!”

“Yes, your Majesty!” Chen the king’s personal helper bowed and leave the room.

The king will be receiving reports on his princes every 2 days. This helps him to monitor his sons training.

“Hmm…… looks like Wang Yu is doing fine. He started to get use to the environment at the camp. And he also has made friends with the soldiers. I hope he could find friends that he can trust.”

“Now then!..... What about Qing?!.... Hmmm……. Wang Qing is doing great too. He is training diligently to become the next king. He grasp things fast and learn them quickly too. His training with The Great Dragon is going well too. Looks like he is the rightful heir to take over my throne. I guess both my sons are doing fairly well by themselves.”

*knock*knock* “Your Majesty! May I speak with you?” the Queen ask.

“Come in my Queen! Have a sit! What is it that you want to talk about, my Queen?”

“I just came back from Jie’s room. She has been missing her brothers so much! She keeps on asking whether she can play with them again and I told her that I will try to ask for your approval of having a day with the family. We can make it a family day where we can have some fun with the whole family. So… how about it?”

“Hmm….. that might not sound so bad…. Alright then! I give you my approval. I will arrange my schedule to make room for that family day. I will tell you later on, what day I will be free of work.”

“Ahh!! Thank you My King. This will make princess Jie very happy. She has been missing her brothers very much. And this will also give us some family time.”

“Haha…. Sure! I also will get to release my stress and rest myself with my family together. Family are important to… so you can start planning, My Queen.”

“Haa…. Thank you my King! I will take my leave right now and start planning for the day with Jie. She will be very excited and so am I…. I miss them too! Thank you for the approval my King.” Queen Hua bow and take her leave.

“Yes, my Queen! I also miss them and also the time we spent together as family. So, I will free up one day for us to spend together as family.” The King smile and then he continue with his work.

Dragon Peak Mountain

At Dragon Peak Mountain, the dragon clans are living their lives as usual. Reed is training Qing every morning. One day in the evening after Reed’s training with Qing, one of the baby dragon brave itself to come to Reed.

*flap*flap* “Umm…. Um…. Ur hines…. Can I ak tamting?”

“Yes child! What do you want to ask?” the baby dragon wags its tail in happiness.

“Hehe….. can yu tell a tory?!” wagging its tail and smiling. The others gather around too.

“What type of story do you want to hear?” Reed smile at the little ones.

“We wan to ear bout the pewins!!....” the little ones said together.

“Hmm….. Alright! Where do I begin!?.... Let’s see…. He’s the second prince of this kingdom and our future king. He’s also the strongest prince that has ever been born!”

“Waaaa…… then is he one of us?” the babies are curious.

“Hahaha…… well, he sort of one of us. He’s actually a shifter, but with a special form that is a dragon like us. That’s why I’m training him.”

“Ooohhh…… so…. He can twen to pweple?....”

“Yes, he can! And that’s what makes him one of us… alright… so you must show your respect to him when you see him, alright…?! He’s still the prince of this kingdom. You must respect him!”

“Yes, ur hines! We will! Hihihi….. tell more stowies!! More stowies!”

“Hahahaha…… the stories end here child… go and play outside and don’t stay out too late! Get back home early! Don’t make your parents worried alright!”

“Aaawwww…….. alright! We will! Hope we can hear more stowies….. hihi… bye bye!” the baby dragons bid their farewell and went out with laughter.

They are happy to hear stories from Reed. The baby dragons are cheerful and playful and they are the future of the dragon clans. Reed hope that he can protect them from harm.
