While they are chanting, Zhihui keeps on attacking and make it impossible for them to chant. Then suddenly Zhihui was attacked by the ogres and other creatures while wizards and witches cast a protection spell to protect the elders so they can continue what they were doing.
The leaders manage to summon the phoenix. The phoenix appeared like a rising sun. Bright, powerful, majestic, fiery... everybody stopped and stood still as they watch the majestic appearance of the phoenix. Everyone was in awe of the phoenix. After a moment, Zhihui continued to attack.

The leaders of every clan begged the phoenix for help in defeating Zhihui. The phoenix agreed and helped them to defeat Zhihui. The phoenix only shoot a single fireball at Zhihui and he was defeated in an instant. Zhihui cannot defend himself from the fireball. He dropped on the ground kneeling and feeling week.
The leaders of every clan begged the phoenix to destroy Zhihui but Lei defended him. The leaders were very shocked at Lei. Lei begged the phoenix to spare his brothers' life as he is still family no matter how evil and twisted he is. The phoenix spoke.
"Are you sure you want to spare this human who had killed many others without any mercy?"
"Yes! Please... I begged you... spare my brothers' life... you can do anything you want with him but... please.... spare his life!!"
"Very well! I will spare his life but I will take away all his powers that he had stolen from others and return it to the nature. And he can never again use hid powers. But bear in mind, though without powers, his bloodline will still inherit the power through blood."
"Yes, Your Majesty!" I stood watch as the phoenix took away my brothers power and turn him into a mortal human.
"You are a kind hearted king. You spared the life and soul of a being even though he or she or it is as evil as they can be. Your kingdom will prosper under your rule. The future of your kingdom will be bright HOWEVER!... there will be darkness that is greater and more powerful than now. The bright future of your kingdom will depend on your bloodline. Consume this fire. It will give immense power to your future heir that will save your kingdom but he or she will need help and my power will awaken when the time is right. Before the time comes, I will be dormant and keep watch of everything. I wish you luck my king and rule well."
The phoenix vanish after healing all of us who were hurt in the battle. After all that had happen, Lei made a deal with all the leaders of each clan that when a royalty hits 16 years old, they will be blessed by each one of the clan. It can be anything as long as it can help them in any way possible to keep the peace going until the spoken time arrived.
"The least we could do is help the future king to keep the peace in this kingdom for as long as they could until the spoken time."
"Yes! I agree with you my king. We could give them our blessings to help them keep the peace of this kingdom." Said the elder shifter.
"We second that opinion my king." Said the other elders.
"Alright! Then all of us agree to this new deal and customs. I also want you to keep what had happen right now a secret until it is time to reveal the truth. And I want you, elder of the dragon clan to be the keeper of truth. I know the dragons lived the longest among other creatures and I also know that every memory of each passing dragon will be passed down to the next heir. I hope you can keep this truth until the right heir of the spoken time arrive to reveal the truth."
"With pleasure my king. I accept your decree."
"Alright then! Wizards and witches! I want you to join forces and conjure up a spell to make everyone forget about my brother, the war that had happen, except for the elders of each clan and replace it with another illusion. This will help keep the truth of what had happen right now."
"Yes my king" the wizards and witches combined their powers and start chanting and casting the spells over the kingdom.
As for Zhihui, Lei banished him from this kingdom to the unknown land. Ever since that day, they never saw Zhihui ever again and the people and creatures of Roselia kingdom never had any recollection of that war. The kingdom had been in peace for 12 generations of kings and hope that it last longer.
