Today I'm meeting the contractor at the cabin I'll be moving into.  I drive to the cabin in Mason's car.  I'm early because I want to see it before the contractor gets here. It's a bit far from the pack house, but I like the freedom that gives me from the pack.  Pine trees tower over the roof.  There are bits of shingles torn from the roof sitting around the house.
The front door whines as I open it, but it feels solid on it's hinges.  I walk in, immediately noticing that it's already furnished.  The couches are outdated, but the rest of the furniture is solid pine. It looks like it was hand crafted from the trees found all over the territory.  Over everything is a thick layer of dust.  The first room I walk into is the living room, at the back behind an island is the kitchen.  It's rustic, and again solid wood.  Some of the cabinets need to be screwed on tighter, and the counter top replaced, but it's not too bad.  So far I don't really see why it's not ready for someone to use.
The rest of the main level consists of a laundry room, pantry, and guest bathroom.  Through the laundry room there is an entrance into the garage.
On the right side of the living room there is a set of stairs leading up.  I walk up them slowly in case they're damaged, but other than some squeakiness everything seems okay.  At the top of the stairs a balcony runs the length of the living room, and then goes of into the space above the garage.  Along the balcony are five doors. Most lead to different bedrooms, but one leads to a bathroom.  In the bathroom and the room on it's right I finally see some damage.  Water damage.  The roof's caved in a bit, and water has been coming into the rooms.  The floor's ruined, and there's mold along the back wall.  I immediately exit, not wanting to breathe it in.
The space above the garage has been turned into a master bedroom.  The curtains are hideous, and I'd like to replace the mattress, but it's not too bad.  Along the far wall are two doors.  One leads to a closet, and the other a bathroom.  All the bathrooms in the house need to be renovated.  This one is promising though.  There's a big jetted tub with a large window over looking into the trees that surround the cabin.  In the corner is a shower.  The shower doesn't looks too bad, but the glass is almost opaque with all the hard water deposits on it. It will need to be replaced if it can't be cleaned.
Downstairs I hear the contractor come in.  I walk back down the stairs to meet him.
"Hello, you must be the contractor."
"No —yes! I'm Frank.  Sorry, I was thinking about your porch.  It seems a bit saggy on one end."  Hmm I hadn't noticed that.
"Well, why don't you walk around and see what all you think needs fixing, and we'll talk about how to fix it.  I've already walked around, and I've seen a few things.

After the walk through we talk the rest of the day about the green house, and what I'm expecting.  The Alpha didn't give me any options besides Frank so there's no decision to be made.  Frank says it's okay if I move in while they're working.  I'm anxious to get out of Mason's cabin, so I move in that night with the help of Connor. It's easy because my stuff is already boxed up.
The next morning.  Earlier than I would like Frank and his crew show up.  I'm still in my robe cooking breakfast at the stove.  I feel uncomfortable with being undressed while they're here so I take the eggs off the burner, and hurry to get dressed.
I feel like I don't have time to shower nor do I feel comfortable with doing it while they're here.  So I get dressed in skinny jeans, a white tank top, and a plaid flannel shirt.  I'll be cleaning today.
