Brooke and the other four were all still stood around an unconscious Tracy. Her eyes were fixed on the girl yet Stiles' remained on the line of mountain ash by the door.  "Don't worry, Stiles." Deaton told him, seeing where his eyes led, "Tracy won't be able to cross a line of mountain ash. She's not going anywhere."

"Yeah, that's kind of what I'm afraid of." the Stilinski replied.

"Well, you and I will be able to get out of here no problem. You three." Deaton glanced at Brooke, Scott and Malia, "Not so much."

"I can get out." Brooklyn informed them nonchalantly.

"What?" Stiles exclaimed looking at the Hale girl. "No supernatural can. Why can you?"

"I'm full of surprises." the healer replied back. A small smile graced Scott's face as her words took him back to the other night. Stiles gave her a blank look. She smiled cheekily at him.

Her brow furrowed, Malia placed her hand out against the mountain ash barrier. She quickly retracted her hand when the blue shimmer stopped her movements. "Weird." she muttered.

"Scott, would you mind holding her down. I'm going to be trying a few more invasive tests." Deaton inquired.

The True Alpha held down one of Tracy's arms and nodded at Stiles to do the other. The veterinarian ran a scalpel down the unconscious girl's arm but it didn't cut. It just made a scraping sound before braking the knife. They all glanced to each other with wide eyes. What was going on with this girl?

"I think you're gonna need a bigger blade." Stiles quipped.

Deaton then turned the girl's head to the side and watched as something seemed to squirm under the skin of her neck. "Now, this is interesting." he said.
Malia and Brooke came closer to get a better look while the two best friends looked at something on the McCall's phone.

The veterinarian jumped a little when he placed his fingers on the girl's neck and it reacted. "Girls," he glanced up at Brooklyn and the werecoyote, "help me turn her over, please."

They turned her over and rolled up her T-shirt, her back definitely wasn't normal. "I think I might know what she is." Stiles statement drifted over to them.

"Do you care to enlighten the rest of us?" Deaton inquired. "Because this doesn't look too good."

The two boys came back over to take a look for themselves. Her spine seemed to move in a wave pattern covered by her skin. Every now and again it would come together and make a small bump before sliding straight again.

What they didn't expect, though, was for her back to completely split open. A green substance flicked up, mostly onto Scott and Deaton's face as her spine became exposed. They all took a very grossed out step back, the True Alpha spluttering as he did so.
Just as they thought it couldn't get any worse, a large tail protruded out. It swung around, hitting Stiles then Deaton in the face, sending them tumbling away.

Tracy then sprung to life, hopping onto her feet on the table. She hit Malia with her tail and sent her into a medical table. The tail then headed straight for Brooklyn, cutting her shoulder and sending her sprawling to the ground in front of Malia but facing away from her.

The Hale girl grunted as her skull collided with the tiling. Black spots clouded her vision for a second but she was able to blink them away to see Scott fall down too and Tracy leave, unbothered by the mountain ash. It was only then Brooklyn realised she couldn't move. Her panicked gasps filled the air as she tried her hardest to even move a finger. But she couldn't. Which could only mean one thing, Tracy was a kanima.
