Brooklyn and Scott walked fully into the armoury and the happy moods they'd had at their success of getting inside dissipated. "Uh, where are all the guns?" the Hale girl pondered as they walked past shelf upon shelf all of which were totally barren.

Scott's eyes widened. "They knew we were coming." He then walked over to the few large boxes at the back of the room and lifted the lids off of them but they were empty too. Brooklyn moved over with him and the two shared a concerned look.

Seconds later the intercom crackled and Argent's voice came through the speaker. "Guys, get out of there now." he ordered.

"Yeah, let's go." Brooklyn agreed and held out her hand for Scott. The two of them had only taken a couple of steps before the True Alpha stopped. "What?" Brooke asked.

"That scent." Scott mumbled. The healer's eyebrows furrowed as she didn't smell anything and turned to look at where Scott's eyes were trained on a sliding metal door. "It's Jiang and Tierney." Brooklyn gazed at Scott in shock as the words left his lips. How did the hunters manage that?

"Guys, you need to leave now." Argent's voice came through the intercom once again.

Scott's eyes went back and forth between the device and where the scent was coming from. "Help me with this." Scott said to Brooke as he made his way over to the sliding metal door.

Both of them wrapped their hands around the handle and began trying to force the door open. Scott obviously having more of an effect on it. The coupled grunted as the struggled, the door creaking under the pressure and rattling. Just as the two got it open Argent shouted, "No, no, no. Don't open that door!"

Without the smallest of falters, an alarm blared through the building and the door out of the armoury shut with a heavy bang and locked, trapping Brooklyn and Scott inside. The buzzing of the alarm then stopped and everything went deadly silent.

The Hale girl ran to the door to try and see if it could be opened as Scott ventured into the small room behind the sliding metal door. Brooklyn yanked on the cold handle but it was well and truly shut. Not even the strength of a werewolf would be able to get through it. She ran back over the her boyfriend who still stood in the small room and asked, "Where's Jiang and Tierney?" as she saw no trace of the two young werewolves.

"They're here." Scott muttered. Brooklyn gazed at what he was staring at with watery eyes and came across a torn off patch of skin that was propped up on a piece of glass like a trophy. A familiar pack symbol of stacked pebbles tattooed on the skin. "That's all that's left of them."

The Hale girl's mouth parted in shock as she took in what Scott was saying. Jiang and Tierney were gone. Her chocolate eyes raked over what else occupied the shelves the patch of skin sat upon and saw other things like werewolf ears and claws all hung up as though they were shinning awards. That the killings behind them were something to be celebrated and congratulated.

With a sigh, the girl turned to walked out of the small room but just as she crossed the doorway she was pulled backwards into Scott's body. He held her tightly to him as she just missed a red laser beam. The two of them watched as the light moved away from them and fanned across all the way to the other side of the room before coming back again. "What is that?" Brooke inquired.

"It's a motion sensor." Scott answered, his arms still wrapped securely around the girl's waist.

"If they already know that we're here, then what do they need the sensor for?" the healer questioned.
