Brooklyn had her head in her hands as she slouched over a counter top still in the Argent Bunker. Scott and the others had only left five minutes ago but she was already so done with these annoying teens. She was about to go and slap the boy who'd pulled the taser earlier when he set of an emitter. Luckily and unfortunately, she didn't have to do so when Malia came in and slammed the device off.
"What are you doing here?" the boy questioned, looking down at Malia as if he knew her.
"I asked her to come. And I asked you not to touch anything else." Argent answered for her.
"Look, how much longer do we have to be down here?" the black haired boy asked.
"As long as it takes." Argent said gruffly, cocking his gun at the end.
Brooklyn moved over to the hunter and Malia as the werecoyote said, "Okay, I'll stay. You've shot enough people for one day." and pushed the emitter into his chest.
"Honestly, I think I'm more likely to shoot him at this rate." Brooke muttered as the boy continued to look around unlike the others who found themselves a spot to sit down.
Malia gave her cousin a look. "If you did, how are you going to explain that to Scott?"
Brooklyn shrugged carelessly. "I'll tell him he was being a pain in the ass." Both Malia and Argent gave her a pointed look that time. "Okay, okay, fine. I won't shoot him." she grumbled as she walked away from them.
It was a long while before anyone spoke again. Malia had begun pacing slowly, Argent had made his way to the door to stand in front of it protectively and Brooklyn was triple-checking her guns were loaded with ammo. "How do you know that they can't get in and shoot all of us?" a girl Brooke didn't know questioned hysterically with tears in her eyes. "I'll never graduate. I'll never do anything. This is it!"
Brooklyn rolled her eyes. Dramatic much? Malia turned to Argent, "Give me the stun gun."
"Can you think of a better, less-seizure inducing way?" the hunter rhetorically asked.
"Could knock her out." Brooke put out there making the man shake his head.
"Don't any of you get it? We are never leaving this place." the girl continued.
She stood up trying to get to the door when Malia blocked her path. "Jayden. It's okay. Before they get in here, they got to go through us."
"What if that's not enough?" the girl, Jayden, pondered.
"No one is getting through that door." Malia iterated. The girl gave a small nod and sat back in her place. Brooklyn smiled a little as she looked at her cousin. Who knew she could console people that easily? Malia nodded as she glanced over everyone when she noticed something and her eyes went wide. She spun back around to Argent and Brooke. "Nathan's missing."
"Who?" Brooklyn asked since she hadn't bothered to learn anyone's names.
"The one you wanted to shoot." Malia clarified. The three of them immediately went to the very back of the bunker and spotted the vent located there wide upon. "We need to find him before he breaks the seal." the werecoyote expressed.
"We can't leave the rest of them alone." Argent acknowledged.
The Hale girl scrunched up her face in annoyance but nonetheless said, "I'll stay, but hurry." The other two nodded at her before climbing up the ladder and going through the vent. Brooklyn moved back inside the main room and took a seat on a stool near the door.
