chapter 15

Two weeks later:
It had been about two weeks and things couldn't be better with Addie. We stayed in her hotel room every night mainly because at my house there was George and Izzie who I still hadn't told where I've been for two weeks.

"Hey your home late" i said as Addie finally walked in the door at 11:45 still in her pink scrubs "Hey sorry should've called I just got stuck in this crazy long surgery" she said looking absolutely exhausted "No it's fine our line of work is like that, sometimes it takes forever"

She walked over to the bathroom taking off her scrubs "Do you need any help?" i asked "Meredith I'm exhausted so if this is you trying to get some, not happening" she said peeking around the door and pointing at me with every word.

"This isn't me trying to get some" i said laughing as I got out of bed "But like you said your exhausted so do you want me to wash your hair for you because I don't think you want dried blood just sitting in your hair" i said showing her blood in her hair.

"Oh my god I didn't even realize there was any there, that's disgusting because it's just been sitting there, ewww" she said running her fingers through her hair "So will you let me wash you hair or not?" i asked again

"You know did i ever tell you how cute you are when your helpful" she said starting the water and pulling off the rest of her clothes "So i can?" i asked one last time just to be sure "Yes Meredith, you can wash my hair, but only if you brush it too" she said stepping into the shower

I quickly got undressed to hop in the shower with her "You know if we were at my house we would have the big bathtub to use after long days like this" i said starting to scrub all the blood and oil out of her beautiful red hair.

"Well how about we spend the night at your place tomorrow" she said with closed eyes "The only thing is, do you care about George and Izzie being there?" i asked "Not really, you and me are good, we're both happy and whats the worst they can say 'Get out of my house' when it's not even theirs. I don't think so" she said as I started on conditioner.

"Okay so it's settled then we're spending the night at my house tomorrow night" I said getting her vanilla body wash on the loofah so I could scrub the days work off of her skin. She always smelled like vanilla and I loved it, it smelled like Addie.

After our shower I grabbed the two warmest towels we had and hand her one "Thank you princess" she said kissing me "Your welcome baby" i said kissing her a second time. We made our way to bed and got under the warm covers in just our towels.

"I could just stay like this forever" Addie said snuggling into me "But we kinda have to put some kind of clothes on" i said "But i don't wanna get up" she said stretching out the p "I guess I'll get up and get us pajamas" i said rolling over to get out of bed.

I got up and grabbed my grey Dartmouth hoodie and Nike sweatpants and threw them to Addie to wear. Then i grabbed her Yale sweatshirt and a pair of her sweatpants for me to wear. "Oh shit hold on" and i threw a pair of underwear at her too.

She slowly got up to get dressed. "You know I wish my clothes would just put themselves on" she said climbing back into bed once she was dressed. "That would save a lot of time and effort" i said snuggling into her.

She rested her head in the crook of my neck "You really are a princess you know" she said kissing me on the cheek "Goodnight baby" is said smiling "Goodnight princess" she said. After a couple minutes i heard her little snores letting me know she was asleep.

Knowing she was asleep let me sleep.

The next morning:

I woke up still snuggled into Addies side. I turned around to see her staring at me "how long have you been watching me?" I asked squinting to see the clock.

"Not to long, your just so cute when your sleeping" she said. I turned around and kissed her fully on her lips.

I slid my tongue across her lips begging for entrance. She opened her mouth a little, enough for me to deepen the kiss.

Our tongues fought for dominance until she pulled away "hold on what was that for" i said as she stood up and started walking to the kitchen.

"We have to get ready for work" she said laughing as I threw myself back on the bed "that right there was very mean you know, making me think I had a chance when I didn't. It's cruel" i said also getting up

"Well I guess we know what's happening tonight" she said as I pulled out clothes for both of us "that's right don't forget to pack clothes since we are going to my place" i said

"Well how long are we staying at your place, so I know how much clothes to pack" she said handing me some peanut butter toast

"Well I was thinking if you like my place, it would be nice to stay for a while. Because here I feel like I'm disturbing the neighbors if you know what I mean" i said making both of us laugh

"Well we need to hurry up and get dressed so that way we aren't late for work Dr. Grey" she said putting on the clothes I picked out for her

"Because what happens when surgeons are late Dr. Montgomery" i said putting on my stack of clothes "when surgeons are late, people die" she said

And at that she grabbed the car keys and opens the door "are you coming or not?" She asked "hold on just one second" i said struggling to put on my shoes

"Okay now I'm ready to go" i said standing up "finally, now let's go Dr. Grey. I need this day to be over already" she whispered the last part in my ear as I walked by giving me butterflies

"Oh you have no idea how much I want this day to be over" i said "well let's go so it'll go faster" she said grabbing my hand as we were walking.

I really can't wait for tonight
