chapter 29

1 year later:

"Addie" I groaned rolling over. "It's time to get up, we gotta get ready for work" I said laying on top of her. "Okay okay I'm getting up" she said sitting up with me sitting on her lap.

My head was resting on her shoulder while her arms were wrapped around my hips. I pulled my head away and looked into her eyes. "I love you Addison Montgomery" I said leaning in to kiss her.

Without breaking our lips apart Addie stood up holding my ass and carried us to the bathroom. She set me down and broke our lips apart to turn on the shower. "What are you doing?" I asked grabbing her hips.

"I'm taking a shower, with my girlfriend" she said taking off her shirt. She took off her shorts and her underwear leaving her completely naked in front of me. I couldn't help but admire her.

She walked slowly over to me and removed my clothes for me. Once all my clothes were off and looked up into her eyes. She leaned in and starting kissing me hard.

She ran her tongue across my bottom lip asking for entrance which I allowed.

We stepped into the shower as our tongues battled. I loved exploring every crevice of her beautiful mouth. Her hands found their way to my breasts and she used the pads of her thumbs to run over my nipples.

"Oh fuck Addie just like that" I moaned moving my lips down to her neck. I kept moving my kisses down farther and farther until I was at her v-line. I looked up at her for permission which she quickly nodded

I moved down to her throbbing clit taking it in my mouth. I swirled my tongue around earning a throaty moan from Addie. I took two of my fingers and ran them through her wetness.

I slowly pushed two fingers into her while my mouth was still on her clit. "Fuck you Meredith" she moaned out. "That's the other way around baby" I said adding a third finger.

I quickened my pace while my mouth returned to her clit overstimulating her. "Meredith I'm cumming" she moaned out loudly as I felt her walls clamp down around my fingers while her legs were a shaking mess

She slowly got back to her feet so we could finish our shower. She pumped out the right amount of lavender shampoo and started washing my hair for me.

She scrubbed her fingers through my scalp till it was all clean then rinsed it out for me. She reached her hands around from behind me to my breasts.

"I'll return the favor later" she whispered in my ear as I melted back into her while she played with my now very hard nipples. "I don't think I can wait that long" I moaned "I think you can" she said tuning around to get conditioner.

"That was really mean you know" I said as she put conditioner in my hair "But it'll make later so much more fun" she giggled back.

We finished washing our hair and bodies so we got out of the shower. I picked out sweat pants and a sweatshirt for myself but Addie was dressing up today.

I looked over and she had on a white button up shirt that nicely showed off her chest. She also had on black high waisted pants with a belt. And to top it all off black heels.

I walked over to her and pulled her in by her waist. "You are so beautiful you know" I said kissing her softly on the lips. "Not more than you" she said kissing me again.

We walked downstairs and out to the car. She got in the drivers seat so I sat in the passenger seat. I reached over and took her hand in mine.

We drove to work just holding hands in a comfortable silence. I loved the drive to work because it always felt so safe, so enjoyable.

We got to work and walked in hand in hand. We got in the elevator with people I didn't know and waited for it to get to our floor.

We were the last ones out of the elevator and this was the time where we had to go our separate ways. I leaned up and gave her a soft kiss on the lips "I love you Meredith" she whispered "I love you too Addison" I whispered back.

We walked our opposite ways and I really didn't want to say goodbye.

I got to the locker room and Cristina was already there. "I think I'm going to do it" I said to Cristina. "Going to do what?" Cristina asked.

"I think I'm going to ask her to marry me" I said putting on my scrubs "How are you planning on doing it?" she asked "I'm going to take her out for a fancy dinner and then go on the ferry and do it there" I explained.

"I think that'll be good for both of you. Amelia and Arizona are getting pretty serious too" Cristina said sitting down next to me on the bench. "Yeah Amelia talks about her a lot. That reminds me I wanna ask her if she's heard from Derek" I said.

"Yeah I wonder how hes doing. Last I knew him and Rose moved to New York and are engaged if I'm not mistaken" Cristina said "Yeah that's good" I said as Bailey walked in.

"All of you need to get to work now" she yelled before walking out. "Dang Bailey is not in a good mood today" i said putting up my hair as Cristina and I walked out of the locker room together.

"Who's service are you on?" I asked Cristina "Dr. Hunt, I think that's his name. I don't really know he's the new trauma guy" she answered "Oh have fun with the trauma guy, I have Dr. Shepherd" i said referring to Amelia.

"I just wanna be back on cardio" Cristina complained turning to go to the pit.

I went and found Amelia in a conversation with Addie "Hey you two" i said very excitedly. I walked up next to Addie and wrapped my hand around her waist. "What are you up to Meredith?" Addie asked kissing the top of my head.

"Finding Amelia because I'm on her service today" I said smiling. "Well I'll let you two go then, I love you" she said kissing me on the lips and starting to walk away "I love you too" I said back.

"We don't really have anything to do today actually scratch that. Shit okay well now we have something to do" Amelia said as both of our pagers went off. It was the pit so we started running down there.

We got there and were standing outside waiting for the ambulance in silence. It arrived and we went to get the patient and have the paramedics catch us up as I saw an intern also walk outside.

"Patient has blunt force trauma to the head. No visible bleeding but right pupils blown" the paramedic said "Okay call the OR!" Amelia yelled.

As we were wheeling the patient in the intern got in my way. "Move! I have a patient" i told her "Dr. Grey I'm Lexie, Lexie Grey. I'm your sister" she said leaving me dumbfounded but this patient needed the OR.

"I don't care right now move!" I yelled as we plowed through to get to the elevator. 

The whole elevator ride to the OR floor Amelia kept glancing over at me looking like she wanted to say something since she heard the whole conversation but she never did. So again we sat there in silence.

But my brain was running a million miles a minute. I knew Lexie existed and I knew she was going to be a doctor I just never thought that I would have to see her let alone work with her. And who in their right mind thinks an incoming trauma is the right place to say that?

The elevator opened and we were off. The OR staff took the patient and got her prepped while Amelia and I went to the scrub room to get quickly scrubbed in. While we were scrubbing in another doctor from down in the pit ran in panting.

"She's pregnant! The patient she's pregnant! The boyfriend just showed up and told us" he said. Amelia was done scrubbing in and ran into the OR "Somebody page Addison Montgomery now!"

Thank you all for bearing with me and I'm very sorry for the lack of updates. You can thank my girlfriend for yelling at me because she wanted me to update this so bad. She really went through and read the whole thing while I was on the phone. But anyways I hope you all love this chapter and the next few should be quite interesting.
