three months.

three months since beck and jade had broken up.

three months since either of them had been in a good mood.

three months of the days feeling like repeats of themselves. just the same thing over and over and over.

three months of that shit.

"alright settle down! settle down! rumps in chairs!" silowitz lectured, clapping his hands loudly and roaming the room to make sure everyone was beginning to pay attention. jade shook her attention to the front of the room, unaware that she had been spacing out until this moment.

"ok class! for today's scene we will be talking about..." he smiled, inhaling loudly but then closing his mouth.

"talking about what?" tori asked trying to get him to continue. he smiled mischievously,

"beck! jade! up on stage!" was his only response. beck sighed heavily and jade rolled her eyes.

"today please!" he demanded once again when the two tried to delay their meeting on the stage of his classroom. they stood as far apart as possible on it, jade all the way on one side and beck as far as he could be on the other.

"jade go stand next to beck he doesn't have cooties" sikowitz joked and jade cringed taking a step towards beck. still nothing close to standing next to each other, but it was the best she could do.

"now today we will be talking about stage flirting!" he introduced and beck watched jades eyes grow. he felt his heart drop a little, but tried to make it unnoticeable to the crowd of people watching him. he was an actor after all.

"now to start this exercise, class we will
be taking a vote. now we have to make this realistic. raw." he paused.

"so everyone raise your hand if you think beck flirts better" hands shot up all over the room and beck tried to conceal a smile. jade just crossed her arms.

"and now raise those hands if jade is a better flirter" more hands went up as sikowitz counted them.

"half and half, hmmm" he seemed to be shocked and pondered this thought. beck and jade on the other hand looked very uninterested.

"like the milk!" cat piped up and jade nodded sarcastically at her.

the bell rang suddenly, interrupting their class discussion. they all walked to lunch, sitting at their usual table. there wasn't much talk today, andre noticed. and if he was being honest there hadn't been much talk in,

three months.

"so..." robbie said trying to start conversation quickly.

"sikowitz's class was fun today?" he asked like he wasn't too sure about it. jade rolled her eyes,

"for you" she muttered under her breath earning her a death stare from beck who was sitting across the table.

"i thought the vote thing was weird" tori broke in trying to keep the conversation going out of nothing. beck laughed lightly,

"ya i cant believe we tied" he said under his breath but jade heard it anyway.

"why can't you believe that?" she asked him suddenly. the whole group froze. this was the first time they had spoken directly to each other for

three months.

"i don't know i've always just been better at flirting than you." beck stuttered, obviously just as shocked and thrown as the rest of the group was.

"you don't think i can flirt?" she shot back one eyebrow raised. beck sighed, there really was no right answer to this question. especially when jade was asking it.

"n-no. i mean you can i'm just better at it." he stated like it was nothing. god she hated that. why did it always have to be nothing with him? like he never cared about anything.

"ok i'll tell you what oliver" she said after a few seconds.

"oh no don't tell him what" tori whispered to andre under her breath, but both of their eyes glued to beck and jade.

"tell me what west" he shot back. everyone taken aback but his aggressiveness with her. his assertiveness that they hadn't seen in

three fucking months.

"i bet that i can get a girlfriend faster than you" she proposed and watched the whole tables mouths drop.

"a girlfriend?" he said almost immediately. it was what everyone was thinking.

"yes. same gender? more fair? try to keep up." she replied rolling her eyes at him like she was already done with all of this. he thought about it for a second.

"if i win i get to boss you around for a week." she proposed.

"and if i win?" he asked.

"you get to boss me around. tit for tat oliver." she raised her eyebrows as the table stifled a laugh.

"i went to a fair once! but we got kicked out because my brother tried to eat the clowns wig." cat piped up. everyone's looks shifted to her with concerned and confused faces.

"he tried to eat the wig?" robbie asked her and cat nodded.

"we aren't allowed at the fair anymore" she giggled softly.

"so what do you say oh great beck?" jade teased him, trying to get an answer out of him.

"it's a deal." he answered holding out his hand to her. she gave it a disgusted look, slapping it away, grabbing her bag and leaving the lunch table. once she was out of ear shot everyone immediately bombarded beck with questions.

"dude why did you say yes?" andre asked him looking very concerned.

"you know jade doesn't take bets lightly" tori chimed in making beck remember the time jade bet tori and jade lost. she almost killed the poor girl. key word being 'almost'.

"and what if she looses?" cat cut in remembering the time jade had lost a bet. she tried not to giggle.

"don't worry guys i'm not worried." was just reply and they shot him dumbfounded looks.

"any girl at this school would give their right arm to date me. this is going to be so easy so calm down."

"if she gets to boss you around for a week god knows what she'll do man" andre reminded him.

"chill guys. the worst she could do is make me just like jump off a cliff." he laughed.

"are we talking about the same jade?" robbie shot him a warning look.

"that is not the worst she could do." tori piped up making them all look at her.

"jade can be...." she continued.

"evil?"

"torturous?"

"sexually driven?"

"intense?"

"aggressive?"

everyone contributed a word.

"hold on... who said sexually driven?" beck asked laughing at the comment. they all looked at each other and laughed. beck shrugged.

how bad could this actually be?
