Everybody in the palace got to know about Draupadi's division and were furious! It was dark and Draupadi was still in the arena with the happy joyful memory of Arjun winning her hand for marriage continuously. "Butterfly, choti won't you meet your jiji? You know that I am here." Shikandini said. Not getting any response Shikandini placed her hand on her shoulder Draupadi quickly turned around and hugged her and started crying and Shikandini calmed her down. "Cry all you want choti, lighten your heart." Shikandini said rubbing her back to which Draupadi cried harder. Balram who was staring at Draupadi from the top for a long time clenched his fist in anger and sadness seeing Draupadi break down in Shikandini's embrace and stormed out of the arena.

"Jiji~" Draupadi cried. "Yes I am here. Say." Shikandini said. "Jiji first my swayamvar was conducted against my will, but I accepted. I followed all the rituals, then while returning from the rituals my eyes fell on a brahmin and fell in love with him. Then I was again reminded of my swayamvar so I shoved off those feelings and continued. Then pitashree asked brahmins to participate making my hopes high. Then the exact same brahmin came forward and won me. My happiness knew no bounds! We were happily laughing and talking while moving to his house but all the happiness shattered when his mata ordered to divide me." Draupadi cried.
Shikandini was calmly listening her each and every words and trying to calm her down. Draupadi then broke the hug and ran towards her room. "Now only Kanha can console her." Shikandini said seeing Draupadi running off to her room.
In the other hand,
Balram frustratedly was attacking Duryodhan and defeating him. "Gurudev!" Duryodhan shouted in fear as Balram was going to hit him on the head with his mace and Duryodhan was on the ground. Balram stopped and shouted irritated making Duryodhan, Dushasan and Shakuni confused. "What happened mahabali?" Dushasan asked. "I hate that brahmin and his family!" Balram shouted. "Why?" Shakuni asked.
"You said the truth mamashree! When you said my lovely, beloved sister is a royal and he is a brahmin. I just hate myself for letting that brahmin take my sister." Balram said. Duryodhan, Dushasan and Shakuni knew nothing about Draupadi's division so Shakuni took this as his chance. "Mahabali he just won the swayamvar not married her. Decision can still be changed." Shakuni said eyeing at Duryodhan. Duryodhan and Dushasan understood his plan and smirked.
"All the princes are gone! My sister's marriage is supposed to be decided on her birthday!" Balram said. "Mahabali you must have forgotten something." Dushasan said. "What?" Balram asked. "That kumari was born in midnight! Meaning tomorrow as well as today is her birthday. You still have tomorrow." Shakuni said. "But as I said every princes are gone!" Balram said. "No mahabali! My brother is left as well. The yuvraj of Hastinapur, if you wed kumari to him then she will rule Hastinapur and Hastinapur is the most safest place to her with the protection of ganga putra Bhism, 100 kauravs and many more qualified experienced soldiers. We are famously known for being birthland to many great warriors." Dushasan said.
Shakuni gave a proud smile to Dushasan "Yes mahabali. You know Duryodhan well, he is your student and Hastinapur is the kingdom where your bua late maharani Kunti is wedded to." Shakuni said. "Makes sense. I agree on this marriage and it will take tomorrow." Balram said. "Gurudev its okay if you not choose me and want to choose the rest." Duryodhan said making Balram smile. "This is the reason I am choosing you for my sister duryodhan. Be prepared for tomorrow I want no buts." Balram said and went away.
After he went away Duryodhan who was innocently and obediently nodding burst into an evil laughter along with Dushasan and Shakuni. "Congratulation bhrata!" Dushasan said. "Now go and sleep. Its pretty late." Shakuni said. "Why?" Dushasan asked. "Tomorrow is your bhrata's wedding let him get his beauty sleep. He is going to be wedded to bramhand sundari Draupadi after all." Shakuni said.

But a sakhi can talk to her sakha." Krishna said making her look up. "What now? What to say?" Draupadi asked. "When friends talk with each other. If not sakha sakhi then..." Krishna said. "Then?" Draupadi asked. "Then to this sakhi! Your one and only Gopika." Krishna said in Gopika's voice making Draupadi slightly chuckle but it didn't last long.
"Is this what siya's curse meant?" Draupadi asked hopelessly. "Remember my words dear sister." Krishna said. "How is this supposed to be a boon? Being divided among own husband's brothers? Six husbands?" Draupadi cried. "Maybe yes maybe no." Krishna said. "What do you mean by that?" Draupadi asked. "Its your decision." Balram said entering the room said. "What?" Draupadi asked. "Whether to have six husbands or one." Balram said. "How?" Draupadi asked.
"Either follow that brahmin or marry any other." Balram said. "I mean to say marry Duryodhan." Balram said shocking Draupadi. "You mean Yuvraj of Hastinapur?" Draupadi asked making him nod. "Will I be safe? Did you forget my attempt murder in the swayamvar?" Draupadi asked. "Duryodhan wasn't a part of it rabbit. Please marry him rabbit, its for your betterment. He is the yuvraj of Hastinapur, the kingdom where our bua was wedded and where the pandavas were. It has the protection of the great Ganga putra Bhism." Balram said. "Please I don't want you to disagree with me. Please!" Balram said joining his hands and almost kneeling.
"Dau, dau! Don't join hands and kneel infront of me." Draupadi said stopping him. "I will marry yuvraj..." Draupadi said and balram quickly stood up and hugged her. "Thank you dear sister! Thank you! You will have a promising future in Hastinapur." Balram said and went.
