Chapter 5

Days had past the children got along very well. "Dharmaraj?" Draupadi called. "Yes Draupadi?" Yudhistir said. "Why do you offer offerings to god?" Draupadi asked. "Its our dharma to please them." Yudhistir answered. "Will they be pleased then?" Draupadi asked. "Yes they will." Yudhistir said. "How would you feel if somebody sacrificed your children to you as offerings?" Draupadi asked making Yudhistir confused. "Why would I let them at the first place?" Yudhistir asked.

"Why? Don't offering please everybody just like you said?" Draupadi asked. "But that's different plus who would be happy when somebody sacrifices their child to them?" Yudhistir asked. "Then how can you say that the god will be happy when we give him offering?" Draupadi asked.

"Meaning?" Yudhistir asked. "We humans, plants, animals, birds and every human being are the children of gods right?" Draupadi asked making him nod. "Then when we human sacrifice animals and birds to god will they be pleased? Is sacrificing a living being that god created dharma? Does dharma mean killing and sacrificing innocent living beings instead of protecting them? Does dharma means killing innocent instead of protecting them?" Draupadi asked making Yudhistir perplexed at think about it.

For the first time somebody questioned dharmaraj's dharma. For the first time somebody called dharmaraj's dharma wrong. For the first time somebody made dharmaraj's think about his dharma and knowledge.

"I heard in hastinapur there are many animal sacrifices every festivals as offerings to god, so is that right? Is that dharma? Does that pleases the god? Isn't it adharma? Isn't taking innocent's life adharma?" Draupadi asked.

"That is adharma..." Yudhistir said. "Then why does hastinapur do that? Isn't hastinapur the place of the dharma protector Mahamahim Bhism? The supposed incarnation of Yamraj Mahamantri Vidur?" Draupadi asked.

"Mahamahim is the student of Lord Parshuram, shouldn't he know that what they are doing to please god actually doesn't please god? The supposed incarnation of Yamraj also know as dharmaraj who knows all the dharma and knowledge, the protector and god of dharma should know that as well right?" Draupadi asked.

Yudhistir was listening to each and every words of her carefully. Whatever she said actually made sense and was correct. "I will talk to pitamah and kakashree about it when I go back to hastinapur." Yudhistir said. "Ladoo!" Rohini called and Draupadi quickly went out.

After staying for almost three weeks the pandavas and their parents returned back to Hastinapur. Yudhistir then talked about the talk between him and Draupadi to the elders and the rest making them nod in agreement.

"Wonderful thought!" Vidur said. "Its not my kakashree. It's Draupadi's." Yudhistir said. "Yagnaseni Draupadi? Yuvrani of Mathura?" Dhritrarsatra asked. "No jyesth. My cousin Yashodha and nanda of Gokul's youngest born child." Kunti said. "She has Saraswati residing on her tongue." Bhisma said. "There will not be any sacrifices of innocent animals in any means." Bhism commanded and the new protocol soon established making everybody aware of the protocol.

Few years had past, Krishna killed every demons Kansa sent to kill him. Gokul, Barsana and Vrindavan had emerged. Rukmini was Draupadi's best friend along with the rest gopis from both Gokul and Banaras.

Krishna's favorite time and activity of the day was doing mischiefs with the gopis, Rukmini and Draupadi, throwing and breaking the gopi's water pots, stealing makhan, irritating the gopis etc.

Whereas the pandavas just travelled to different places, they didn't come to Gokul as they heard many tales of demons attacking Gokul and Kunti had warned them not to go there alone. They heard many victorious tales of the trio- Balram, krishna and Draupadi. Balram's strength, Krishna's mischiefs and Draupadi's unparalleled beauty and the trios unity and defeating the different demons.
