BUTTERFLY FROM THE FLAME (JOY AND GENTLENESS OF THE FLAME)

CHAPTER 1

The evil laughter of Mathura Naresh echoed in the prison. Mathura Naresh Kansa had killed Vasudev and Devaki's sixth child. The tears of sorrow, agony and pain of a parent were rolling down violently from Vasudev and Devaki's cheeks witnessing the murder of their sixth child.

After few months Devaki was again pregnant with their seventh child. Vasudev and Devaki prayed for a miracle to happen to save their seventh child to the supreme. At night while they were sleeping devi Yogmaya came in their dreams.

"Pranam devi." Vasudev and Devaki greeted. "The supreme is very pleased by both of you and ordered me to save your child." Yogmaya said. "I will take your child from your womb Devaki and place it into Vasudev's first wife Rohini." Yogmaya said. The couple thanked her and the supreme multiple times.

In Gokul while Rohini was sleeping Yogmaya came and placed the bright energy ball, supposedly the avatar of Sheshnaag into her womb. "You are now carrying the child of your husband and your co-wife. Take care of your child." Yogmaya whispered into Rohini's ears and Rohini smiled widely in her sleep.

After nine month a healthy baby boy took birth in Gokul. Rohini's happiness knew no boundaries seeing her child in her arms. Yogmaya had made a maya to make everybody believe that it was Vasudev and Rohini's child. The whole villagers were celebrating the birth of Vasudev's child.

The time now finally came for the supreme to take birth on earth. Devaki again became pregnant. After nine months she again gave birth to a healthy baby boy. But something was unusual about him. There were no cries received from him instead there was a gentle smile on his face.

The couple just admired the newly born until loud footsteps broke their trance. The couple started panicking hearing the footsteps but the footsteps suddenly stopped. It felt like the whole world had stopped. The couple then looked outside the bars to see all the soldiers frozen on their spot.

They then turned around to be greeted by a bright light shaped in the shape of the supreme 'NARAYAN' the couples joined their hands and fell on their feet witnessing the supreme. "I Narayan has taken birth as your eight son to finish the evil and establish dharma." the light said.

"Please save our child." Devaki cried. "Take him to Gokul where your seventh child Balram has taken birth to Rohini. Exchange him with Nanda's daughter i am already warned him about it." the light said and soon disappeared. 

As the couple stood up the chains from Vasudev got off. Devaki then prepared a basked with many soft things and a blanket for her new born. Devaki had a hard time saying good bye to her new born. Finally she let them go. After a long journey to Gokul Vasudev saw Nanda on the doorsteps and went towards him.

"Don't worry we will take care." Nanda said and went inside along with Vasudev. Nanda then took his newborn girl in his arms and hugged her tight and kissed her all over her face. Vasudev understood the pain of separation of child and let them have their time.

After Nanda finally gave his girl to Vasudev and took the boy and laid him beside yashodha. Vasudev then went back to the prison and Devaki took the new born in her arms. After she took the new born everything unfroze. the soldier saw the child and quickly went to Kansa's chamber and informed him.

Kansa quickly marched towards the prison and entered the prison making the couple startle. "Bhaiya its a girl! A girl can't do any harm to you." Devaki said making kansa nod. The couple sighed in relief and Kansa quickly snatched the girl from Devaki's arm.

"Girl or boy. Eight child id the eight child." kansa roared and threw the child towards the wall. Vasudev and Devaki just closed their eyes shut not being able to tolerated the sight. After kansa threw the child there was a blinding light making kansa groan making the couple look up to him then the light.
