I open my sockets and the sun beats down on me. The sky is gorgeous, no matter how much it isn't the actual sky.

I sit up on my makeshift bed and look over to my left. The rock is releasing smoke and not on fire anymore. Cross is still sleeping. Virgo and Mistake are wrapping around Cross.

The river hushes me as I approach to wash my face before I shed my clothes and take a dip. The cool water streams through as I hold onto the grass. All is calm.

When I feel that the stains were gone I stepped out of the river and put on my long coat. Then once I tied my strings around my body to keep the coat covering me. I picked up my clothes and washed them in the river.

When I gotten back to camp Cross was awake playing with Virgo and Mistake.

"Morning." I groan. Using my strings I managed to hang my clothes up for drying.

"Woke up on the wrong side of bed?" Cross chuckles as Mistake and Virgo squirm to get attention from me.

"Perhaps." I simply state before petting my children.

 "Let's go."

"I need to wait for my clothes to dry first." I tell him pointing to the only clothes I had with me.

"Well never mind." He says sitting down on his sleeping bag. Then he decides to sit next to me on mine.

He pulls his arm over my shoulder and I lean on him. Then I pull out a notepad and scribble some ugly sprawling lines on the page before closing it.

"What was that?" Cross asks pulling the notepad from me.

"Nothing of importance." I remark while reaching up to retrieve my stuff.

My hand is smacked away and held by the arm that is around me while the other hand is inspecting my pad.

"Ah, yes incoherent scrabbles and plain wording. Ooh, designs with box shapes. And it seems you have an obsession with box like shapes." He glances over at me a impish grin spreads across his face.

Well, there goes my chances at life.

Cross casually closes the book and pulls me close to him.

  "What are you plotting?"

"You really are distracting. You're weird, you talk funny, but most of all-" He tells me putting his face near mine. "You are sneaky little wrench."

He pulls closer as if he was going to touch my skull with his. We only kiss for a second before we heard the sound of a very pissed off someone.

"I heard of this affair but I thought it was petty gossip. Guess I was wrong."

We turn to the source of the voice. It was Ink. Surely he didn't come alone. Cross was getting ready for a fight until I tugged his shirt sleeve.

"What!?" He whisper yells kneeling next to me.

"I am naked under my coat." I whisper back to him.

"Well it doesn't matter we are all male here." He implies.

"What am I wrong?" He asks.

I only continue to stare at him with my arms folded over my chest.

"Okay, seriously, what is happening. Is this some sort of way of stalling?" Ink asks.

Blotches of  ink fly past our faces. Cross stands up and dashes over in Ink's direction. Then he is gone.
