EP'

I feel the rise of danger. A premonition foretelling god-awful disaster.

"Eau Reum!" (Sounds like Ow but pronounce it with an a sound in the middle. [ aw/ăh rūmə] Easy right? Bet you spent time time trying to saying. If not in words you tried in your head.)

"Yes Prince Ep?"

"I did some data analysis throughout the three months and found a weird glitch in the system. Something that this world was never intended to have."

"Well spill."

"That's the funny part, I don't really know what it is. But expect large scale corruption."

I sit on my futon and pull the blanket around us.

Warm.

As if things couldn't get worse than having two universe destroying idiots in one room together alone.

The cold here seeps into your bones. Even those who are immune to the cold will feel the presence of the Anti-void, as if to make sure to remind you where you are.

"We should leave for a bit." Cross suggests planting his hand on my skull. He seemed to read my mind in that moment. The time where I gave in to his want and went to find a shirt to put on over my pajamas.

"I guess." I mutter looking over my shoulder.

He gives a slight grin as I hand him back his jacket and put on one of my sweaters.

"Where are you taking me?"

"Surprise!" He chuckles dragging me through the portal to a random universe. He was just as excitable as a dog getting to see their owner after work. Once he walks in, he pulls me through.

His grip tightened around my hand and kept me protectively close behind his steps. Rounding a corner into a cave opening.

Crystals glistened illuminating the cave, but from no specific light source. At the end of the dark rock cave Cross uses his magic and slid into a hole.

"It's safe, come on." He tells me coaxing me to come over like I was some kind of pet.

Nodding I follow his lead through a tunnel through the rest of the cave until we reached an old rusted puzzle of some sort. Cross took my hand and shoved it into the hole.

"Why did you do that!" I scream freaking out.

"It didn't respond well when I tried it." He pulls of his gloves and shows me the clean bandages. His bone seemed to ripped and there was thick gashes running down his fingers.

"Well if you knew that it happened to you why did you put my hand in there!" I felt angry, but also disappointed that he didn't apply common sense to the situation.

"Well you react weird to all the old things inside of every universe so I just felt-"

"Are you trying to say I am old?"

"No," Cross' eyesockets widen as we finally heard it. Clicking of gears and the sound of something shutting closed.

"Did yo-"

"Shut it Cross." I whisper feeling the walls for energy movement.

I focused my magic on seeing how the structures mechanics work. As to my judgement this is a temple, and it approved of my blood seeing as I am generally unhurt.

I reach my hand back into the hole and run down the hall grabbing Cross' hand and pulling him through the forcefield that was made to look like black stone.
