Revival

Siege

  I stared at my brothers waiting for their next response.

  Eau told EG to command of army and other forces. And EG instructed dad to find our father and get married soon. EP asked which Multiversal power 404 shanked up with to create this attack on the palace.

  Cross was to stay here and guard me and my dad.

  "I should go out there and fight. This is my kingdom."

  "You shouldn't, you should listen to your children they know what they are doing. For now let us get you and the rest of the nobles to safety." Cross says helping us up to our feet.

  He takes us to the palace exit letting the less important nobles hide in the city while the more important ones including me and my dad were led to my dad's second palace hidden underwater in the ocean.

  "Who are the Systems dad? Everyone seemed pretty worried when that empire's name was called out. Is there something wrong?"

  "The Systems are a long time enemy of our family. That empire happened due to them not respecting our rule and seceding. Unfortunately for you you had the terrible luck of meeting the rulers. If they gotten ahold of you they would have used you against the Empire and we would be destroyed. The Systems love complete order.

   "Then what should we do now?"

  "It would be a lost cause . They have control over everything in the universe. And supposedly Cross comes from there. So it is best that we understand why and how CE got there in enemy territory in the first place."

  "The Anti-void. I was stuck in there a long time. Then somehow I got out. And that is where I ended up when I left."

  "You've been there this entire time?" My dad asks.

  "Yes... Why do you ask?"

  "Well when you were born you disappeared and when I went to go look for you, you were in the Anti-void. I didn't know how you got there. And soon after when you vanished again and everyone was regrouping we were worried you died in the accident that destroyed our home universe. Someone said you ran to the barrier and Effie was following after you..."

  Effie.

  "I searched everywhere. I searched the Anti-void even to the unexplored regions. I sent so many things to find you. That means something or someone was stopping me from finding you. You may know that the Anti-Void is a singularity where everything exists at once. It is connected to every multiverse. There should be no reason that I couldn't find you. Something is wrong."

  When we get to the oceans edge my dad walks close to the water and moves his hands and the water parts for us. We begin walking and the water closes behind and over us preventing anyone from following. The sand slips into my mary janes and slows my movement.

  Annoyed I take off my shoes and dump out the sand and continue following my dad. I look at Cross in his green tux, he seemed unbothered by the sand. I walked closer to him.

  "Do you have sand in your shoes?"

  "No."

  "How?"

  "Dunno. I am just walking."

  I sigh and look at the nobles ahead of us.

  Lord Rio had his hair slicked back and has a lightning shaped streak running through his hair. Lordess Sol was wearing a big yellow green dress, their face wavered in and out of view looking like a black hole. Lady Opal wore a dark blue dress making her already pale skin paler looking however her wife Lady Crinkle was light blue and see-through, her dress dark emerald. And finally Lord Pedro who is walking on the ceiling of water my dad made in an orange tuxedo.

  I didn't want to mention those were not the colors of the party to Lord Pedro, but he seemed so happy. Especially his chair needed to be put upside down for him and put a small table attached to his chair. Sure he was dumb. But I am questioning how he would stay upside down in town. I did learn how though. He has this walking stick that allows him to move around places that aren't like rev-verse.

  Supposedly his universe is a planet folded inside out on itself, and inside the planet there is a moon a sun and far off galaxies. It doesn't make sense. And somehow the planet still orbits and moves around the star like a Dyson Sphere.

  I think that he must be smarter than he lets off.
