Perhaps the worst thing wasn't that I couldn't tell them, but rather why I couldn't tell them.
"Don't!" Hisses a voice in my skull making me rattle.
"What did you say? Cause what ever you said sounded like you were speaking in some crazy language." Nightmare crosses his arms.
I said something?
EP'
There seems to be a cut off code on the weapon removing files. It isn't moving fast but it is slowly destroying information. I feel that they will have a harder time remembering stuff as if the excessive glitching would be enough.
"What should we do?" Eau Reum asks. "It's not like we can interfere yet. Your father hasn't given us the signal yet."
"I will just have to visit my cousin later. Hopefully I can get through to him. He's pretty lost in his mind."
"Dang, I haven't seen your cousin in such a long time. Especially after he has been kicked out of the family."
I give Eau a smile. I am not looking forward to this. I haven't seen him in Eons, or at least it feels that way. Pure space is timeless isn't it?
The day dad cut ties with his family the severed bond couldn't be replaced. Even EG who was the closest to him severed ties unwillingly, but he did what he knew was best at the time. He used to mope around, I don't think he would be happy to remember him.
I picked up my bags and got to moving my stuff to head to the void he made his home in.
"Hello, cousin. It's been a while hasn't it? Mind if we have a little chat?"
"Hello, Ep."

"I will take him home to our place. I will see you guys later right?" Cross waves goodbye to them and picks up the children then helps me walk.
"You are really out of it, is it the alcohol doing that to you?" He asks as he opens a portal to the crystal cave house.
"I don't really know." I do have a good hunch though.
Cross pulls me through the portal. He puts the little buds down by the rushing water and takes me to the steam room. With the Geothermal vents and opens the door to warm up the house.
"Now this is a home." He hums pulling off his clothes and sitting in the warm pool at the corner of the room. "Come in." He beckons me to come in.
"Turn around for me to get undressed."
Once I took off my clothes, I climbed in next to him.
It's warm.
I sink into the water.
After some time I wanted to get out. I pull myself out of the bath and walk over to the towels with the insignia of a beautifully written 'E'. The towels with the insignia of 'C' were right beside mine.
"You found it strange that the towels have initials on them?" I ask as I dry myself off.
"Never really thought about it. The towels were wrapped up in the cabinet over there. Along with other toiletries. This place seems generally unlived in. You see the towels over there that are hanging?"
"Those ones from last time we were here?" I point to the towels that were sitting on the drying rack.
Cross nods. "They are still there. Meaning no one is here or they didn't move our towels."
I put the damp towel down and walk down the hall to the biggest bedroom.
There had to be something in the closet for me to wear.
I open the doors and probe through the clothes. I come across a rainbow rib knit long sleeve shirt. Disgusting.
I pull on the shirt and pull out the crimson red overalls that the shirt is connected to.
"Guess you are coming with me then." Once I was dressed I put on my flip flops and sat at the desk making some doodles.
Cross entered the room wearing nothing. And per norm his was going on about something that I don't share any common knowledge about.
"Hey, Cross."
"Hmm?" He responds.
"May I take your measurements?" I ask pulling out my string.
"Um, sure." He answers.
I quickly run up and use my strings to measure and write them down on my notepad and wave Cross away. He shrugs then opens the closet.
I made a simple plan for a t-shirt and cameo pants.
"Cro- Why?" I turn around and watch Cross wearing the long green dress that was in the closet.
"You know what, I don't care." I say. I get up and show him the design.
"Ooh. Gimme." My notepad was taken from me and Cross inspected it. He took my pen and drew a big circle in the center.
I looked over his shoulder and he drew a white band from the the waist and connects to the back.
"I will make the band have light green spots then. The shirt will be dark green and the pants black, perhaps I can make a dark gray silk undershirt too." I take the notepad from his hands, put on my glasses and begin weaving fabric.
While I am weaving Cross runs through the other rooms and tries on the clothes in the closets.
"You'd drive me past insanity if I didn't love you." I mutter.
"What sanity do you even still have?" He says coming behind me to see the work I am doing.
I smirk and continue weave.
"Enough sanity to not kill you or be an unhinged beast like everyone says I am I suppose." I say.
When the fabric was finished I took the measurements multiplied a few measurements by 4 and created a pattern.
"Why did you multiply my measurements by four? Wouldn't it be too big?" Cross asks.
"Well you are a three dimensional being. If I didn't multiply the measurements the clothes would barely fit you. That is why I multiplied the chest and other measurements." I state.
[Author's note. I was a fashion designer and I have made clothes for fashion shows before these were the lessons I was taught. If any of the information is different for you feel free to share.]
"Ohm." He says watching as I pin fabric to the pattern and began a base stitch. (Loose, easy to remove stitches)
When I was done I removed Cross' clothes then took up the clothes I made and put it on him.
"It's done?" He asks.
"No. I am just seeing how it fits first before I put the final stitches in and remove the base stitch."
"Okay."
When I saw how it fit I took out my strings and thread and spun them together and began my finishing stitches that loop around the edge of the fabric ensuring that each stitch is straight and even.
"Perfect." I mutter. The sun went down and Cross went to bed. I take off my glasses and take off my clothes and slide under the covers next to Cross.
