Ch. 18: Gallant Wolves

[Lucy's PoV]

After I left Sabertooth, I travelled to Galanta Town. I heard there are lots of wizards who wields wolf-magic there. And they're right. I met Gallant Wolves.

I really miss Sting but I have to move on. I know I love him but I don't want to love him anymore.

I don't wanna love anymore. I don't wanna get hurt anymore.

I met Ryuki and Ryouka. They're siblings. Both has green hair.

Ryuki uses Wolf Spawning Magic. He spawns wolves that have different skills. He also knows minor healing magic.

Ryouka uses Shadow Wolf Magic. She creates wolves out of shadows. And just like Ryuki's, they have different skills.

I also met Naminami. She has long white hair and she's cute. Just like me, she's a wolf-slayer so I believe we're blood related. She uses Water Wolf-Slaying Element.

The last one was AZ. He has black hair and he's really tall. He could control the wolves around him and could call for them. Trust me, I have seen his magic and I think people we're scared when many wolves rushed in our training place because he called them. Aside from that, he has claws similar to real wolves. And they have an electrifying effect.

I don't know why but I always have the feeling that someone's watching me.

Anyway, the Grand Magic Games is creeping up closer. Which means, more training.

I'm gonna prove Fairy Tail who the weak Ex-Fairy has become.

I left Sabertooth for a reason.

To forget my feelings for Sting.

I don't want my love for him to grow stronger. I don't wanna love anymore.

Loving means hurting.

"Lucy, let's go!" Ryuki called. I left my room and proceeded to train with them.

[Sting's POV]

I watched her as she continued practicing her Wolf-Slaying Magic with the white haired girl.

"I've done my research and found out who they are." Wendy said from behind. She just came back from her little quest.

"That girl's name is Naminami Kononoko." Wendy said, pointing to the white haired girl that Lucy was training with.

"That one over there is AZ. Obviously not his real name but that's what everyone calls him." Wendy then pointed to the black haired guy who's meditating.

"Those two green haired are Ryuki Hayazaki and Ryouka Hayazaki. Their siblings." she said. The two aren't present here. Probably training somewhere else.

"They all belong to the guild called Gallant Wolves."

"Gallant Wolves?" Sylvia and I questioned in unison.

"New guild?"

"No. Gallant Wolves was formed 3 years ago but they weren't that famous. They only have four members excluding Lucy-san and their Master so people wasn't so reliable to them. They were not able to join any of the games since they have to few members but now that they have five, I guess they'll join." she explained.

"Why won't people join them?"

"Probably because they only accept Mages who uses wolf-related Magic."

I nodded and continued to watch Lucy again.

I miss her so damn much.

...

We came back to the guild after 5 days of watching over her and it already felt like years of not seeing her.

Kanade announced that Me, Rouge, Yukino, Rufus, and Orga will be the ones to participate again this year. Wendy will be the reserve member.

There's only 3 days left before the tournament.

"This year's game has a new set of rules." Kanade said as she stood in front of everyone.

"Rule number one, every team must wear a coded costume. As for Sabertooth, I decided to make our costume plain red. I'll show you your costumes tomorrow."

"Number two, every participant of the game must wear a mask regarding your guild name. Since we're Sabertooth, we'll wear tiger masks."

"Three, one team per guild. Masters are not allowed to participate."

She continued announcing stuffs about the game but Lucy occupied my mind.

I really miss her so fcking damn much.

I just want to have her by my side.

I love you, Lucy.

Oh how I wish I could say that to her.
