[Sting's PoV]

I watched as Lucy and Yukino made their way too exit my apartment when something caught my eye.

Lucy's hair was blown a little that allowed me to see a black tattoo on her nape.

I quickly pukled her arm and brushed her hair to the side for me to be able to see clearer.

"S-S-Sting? W-What are you doing?" She stuttered out.

"Hold still." I wishpered. Still mesmerized by the black tattoo. It was beautiful like this girl in front of me. Wait... WHAT?

"Lucy, is this a tattoo?" I asked. I just wanted to be sure.

She walked to my life-sized mirror and checked her nape. A tattoo of a black colored star with some curved lines. Her face was unreadable. Like... I don't know? Unsure, maybe?

"No... I don't think so..."

"What is this?" She asked reffering to the tattoo.

"Tomorrow let's ask Rufus. Right now, you need rest." Yukino said and she nodded.

"Sting." She called. Somehow, it felt right when she called my name. "Thanks for bringing me here. If you didn't I don't know what could've happen to me." Lucy said sincerely.

I smiled. "Of coarse. That's what friends are for, right?"

Friends... I don't know but I already consider her as one. I already like her. AS A FRIEND.

She smiled back and nodded before leaving.

...

"I'm sorry, but I haven't seen anything like this before."

"Oh... Thanks, Rufus!"

"But I can help you research about it."

"You don't have to... I don't wanna be of trouble." -Lucy.

"But I would like to help the lady." Rufus bent down and kissed the back of her hand. And I suddenly had the urge to punch him. Weird feelings...

"T-Thanks.." Lucy sheepishly said while blushing.

Oh? She's blushing because of that simple gesture? Tssss.

"Lucy-sama!!" Came a high pitched voice that echoed in the guild. It was Yukino. She came to a halt in front of Lucy and stood with her hands on her knees for support as she panted

"I-I found something."

We all looked at her seriously.

"What is it, Yukino?" I tried to ask calmly, trying to hold the urge of being excited to find out for Lucy. Wait... I think I said something weird... Did I?

"T-This.." Yukino handed us a book turned to a certain page, and Lucy was the one to take it.

We looked at the page and found a drawing of the same tattoo that Lucy has. "Is this..." Lucy trailed off and began reading certain parts aloud.

"Celestial Curse." she gulped. "A Cursed Wizard may only have a few years left to live, or die earlier and turn to a Celestial Spirit..." her voice began to brake and I could only hold her shoulders to keep her standing. "Does that mean...?"

"Shh... Lucy. Everything will be alright. Just.. trust us, okay?" I whispered, comforting her. She slowly nodded. Her arms shaking, she dropped the book and fell on her knees.

I kneeled down next to her and held her both shoulders, looking at her eyes. "Don't worry, Lucy. We'll help you. I'll help you. We'll get through this." I said, seriously.

[Yukino's PoV]

I smiled secretely as I watched Sting and Lucy. I giggled, they look cute together. I guess, I'll be shipping them. I trust that Sting won't hurt Lucy.

Ever since Lucy came, Sting became more opened to us. I think, having Lucy with us is a present. That's why Lucy is special. And I won't let anything take her away.

I walked towards the two and sat down next to them. "Don't worry, Lucy. I'll talk to the King about this. I'll help you."

...

[Makarov's PoV] - Fairy Tail Guild

Ever since we left Lucy off to die, the guild has never been alright. We all felt guilty, sad, depressed, lonely, tainted, evil, traitor. We weren't able to fight for her, but we did what we thought is right. But I guess... we were wrong in deciding to just kill her. If Lucy knew about this, I'm sure she would've choose to fight.

I know that, wherever she is, she's happy. She finally got to see her parents again. I just wish that, her happiness would last forever.

When we killed her, we were so heavy. Everything was hard for us.

It okay if she's mad at us and loathes us. Just as long as she's happy.

I dusted my clothes as I stood up from my chair and left my office. There I saw them. My children. Their lonely faces and non-stop crying. It's been years already... But we still haven't got over the fact that we betrayed our own nakama.

I looked around the guild. Many have changed. There are only a few people left in the guild. Some of them are currently on jobs, while most left. They couldn't stand it here. They say it just gave them nightmares. They wanted to move-on.

But I guess, Lucy is a very important and special person to all of us. That even if years have passed, we will and would never forget her. She's in our hearts forever.
If forever does exist...

"Master..." I looked behind me where Erza is standing. A lot has changed about her. She cut her hair short, and she stopped eating strawberry cakes. I feel bad.

"We should continue to fight. I heard, that guild is sending him in the games. I wanna battle him." she said determined. I really feel bad about my children.

I nodded. "We will. We will avenge her."

"Master, I'm in too!" Natsu said as he stepped next to Erza. He has changed too. He is still smiling and jolly, but I know that all those smiles are fake. Behind them are sadness. I know Natsu too well. He hates seeing people sad. That's why he cheers them up even if he himself is down.

He was the first to hurt Lucy. Every time he would come to the guild, his eyes are puffy and red but he denies it. I know he's crying himself to sleep every night. I really really feel bad.

"Count me in, Master. This is for our nakama." among them, Gray is the one who changed most. He managed to stop stripping, he stopped bickering with Natsu and the others, he would less talk, and he always read the same thing everyday. Her novels.

I smiled as tears started to form in my eyes.
I'm still glad that they never forgot about her. That they still know the true meaning of nakama.

I nodded and looked at everyone else who was looking at us the entire time.

"Levy Mcgarden and Mirajane Strauss, you two are also participating!" I yelled. They nodded as they wiped the tears off their faces and smiled.

I took a mug of beer and raised it to the sky, "For Lucy, our lost nakama. Together, we fight for her!"

"YEAH!!!"
