Ch. 14: Sting and Lucy

[Lucy's PoV]

'Hello?'

'Anybody here?! Sting?! Sting!'

'Where are you, Sting? Help me!'

'Helloooo!!!?'

Ouch. All my yells are only echoing in my head. It's so frustrating me. Where am I anyway? All I see is black. The last thing I know, I was in the park with Sting.

'Hey!? Anyone?!'

'Psst!' I turned my head to the direction of where the sound came from.

But saw nobody.

Nothing but black.

'Psst! Lucy!' I still can't find where it is.

'Over here!'

'Where?' it didn't respond. It was quiet again.

'Sting?' I called again. But got no response.

'Lucy! Dodge!'

'W-Wha-- Ahhh!' ugh. What was that?

I looked at my right side where the attack came from. But only saw a blonde haired man curled up in a ball.

'Owww' Sting said as he rubbed his head.

'S-Sting! Where are we?'

'Somewhere safe. This is better.'

'Sting, what's going on?!'

'Sorry, Luce. But this is what's best for you.'

'DON'T CALL ME THAT!'

Ouch. Damn. I think I should stop yelling. It all echoes in my head.

'Where are we, Sting?'

'In your head. Lucy, this is better. I have to keep you away from Minerva.'

'Why? What's with her?'

'Just... Please, Lucy. Please understand. I just came to give you these.' Sting handed me my keys and whips.

'I know these are important to you. So take them.' then he disappeared.

'Sting? STING!!!!' Ouch. Damn this.

[Sting's PoV]

I feel like a traitor. But I must do this for her.

Lately I noticed Minerva. I know she's planning something on Lucy just like she planned on Kanade. So I kept Lucy in her mind for safety.

"Where am I?" I turned my head to the blue haired little girl tied with magic-proof ropes.

"Don't worry. I'm not gonna hurt you unless you speak what I want." I told her calmly.

Her eyes widen upon seeing me. "Where's Lucy-san?! Where is she?! What did you do to her?!" she yelled.

"Relax, she's safe."

"How am I supposed to believe you when you're the one who announced her death in the guild 3 years ago?!"

"I did that?" Now I got more lead. So she did used that device on me. She manipulated me without me knowing.

"Oh yes, Mr. Eucliffe! You did! Don't tell me you forgot?"

"Tell me. About what happened to Lucy." I told her calmly to leave the other topic. This is what I wanted to know.

"Why am I supposed to do that? I don't trust you!"

Damn this girl.

"Just tell me... please? This is for her. I need to save her from danger. Tell me what else I did."
