Ch. 24: Grand Magic Games Day 2 PART II

The crowd cheered in excitement as Wendy charged first.

Hitting the still shocked Lisanna, she followed with a Sky Dragon's Fist.

Lisanna shielded herself when the information finally sank in her mind.

That their precious sweet little Wendy has now grew up. She is now mature and independent.

"Sky Dragon's roar!" Wendy monotonously said, releasing a massive roar to Lisanna's direction.

Lisanna still stood up though. She already received too much damage but still refused to attack her little friend.

"I won't attack my family, battle or not!" Lisanna said as she tried to regain her posture.

"That is, if I am still part of your family." Wendy started then stood up from her crouching position.

"It appears I no longer am." the Sky Dragon Slayer nonchalatly ended, also ending the fight with victory.

"Wendy Marvell from Sabertooth wins!"

Everyoned screamed in excitement except for Fairy Tail. They missed their Wendy. What could they have done wrong for Wendy to refuse being family with them, they thought.

"Round 4: Forest from Piggy Punch versus AZ from Gallant Wolves!"

AZ conquered the arena and called on wolves. Wolves rushed to his side. A hundred of them.

"Wolves are my specialty." Forest said, petting one of AZ's wolves.

"But mine, is better. FOREST!" Forest chanted, and soon the arena turned into a forest.

"What's this? Forest turned the arena into a forest!" Chapati said in amusement.

"Now, shall we begin?"

AZ's wolves charged to Forest, but Forest used his eye magic and made the wolves attack AZ instead.

AZ's wolves charged on him, attacking the wolf master from every direction.

"What now, AZ? Without your soldiers you are weak." Forest grinned and laughed evilly as the wolves surrounded him.

"I give no mercy. Your filthy wolves looks hungry." Forest smirked, soon controlling the wolves to inch closer to AZ.

"I have yet to use my true power."

At Forest's mention of that, the trees and roots of the forest he created moved and restrained AZ.

"Death is allowed in the battlefield. It is also the end of every life." Forest said, directly looking at AZ with his pure green eyes.

AZ, on the other hand, found no other way. He admitted long ago that he is and will always be weak. He was called the Master of Wolves, yet no wolves could follow him without magic.

He looked straight at one of the wolves' eyes. Trying to communicate through mind.

"Kneel down before me. And give me the Mastery you own. And I will let you live." Forest smirked, standing straight and looking down at AZ.

The Wolf Master ignored him and kept trying to pull the wolf out of Forest's control.

"No? Well then, these hungry wolves need to eat." Forest laughed evilly. Commanding the wolves to devour their master.

"I'll have your Mastery once I kill you anyway." he laughed madly, not a look of pity on his face.

The crowd murmured, pity for AZ was evident in them.

Gallant Wolves glared at Piggy Punch who smirked at them. Ryouka bit her fingers as she watched AZ. The thought of Lucy adding to her worry.

AZ's eyes zoomed out, the wolves began to step away from him, and soon the wolves faced Forest and growled at him.

Forest's laugh hitched as he noticed how the wolves cornered him.

"E-Eh?"

"Wolves could eat pigs. But not wolves." AZ said, raising his hand and pointing it to Forest.

"You,"

"Me?"

"Make a pig's sound for mercy." AZ commanded, readying the wolves around him.

Forest raised a brow and laughed. "Silly boy. Do not forget that I could control the forest you're standing at!" he yelled.

But before he could command the trees to attack AZ, he felt a stinging pain on his crotch.

He looked down, only to find a wolf biting him.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!" He screamed, collapsing to the ground and rolling around. The wplves attacked him, bringing him down.

"AZ from Gallant Wolves wins!"

Gallant Wolves cheered and hugged AZ, then remembering Lucy's condition.

They rushed to her room, only to see Wendy there, healing her.

"Oi! What are you doing?" Ryuki questioned, stepping closer to Wendy.

Across the room, they found Sting sitting on the couch, looking at Lucy seriously.

After a matter of seconds, Lucy's wounds were gone. She was perfectly fine again. Physically.

Her eyes flicked open, and immediately sat up.

"M-Mikari!"

Lucy looked around the room and realized where she is. She clenched her fist and teeth.

"Lucy, who did that to you? Who hurt you?" Ryouka asked, eyeing the blonde.

"Mikari Kudoshi... She's back." she mumbled, then accidentally gaining eye contact with Sting. Her eyes widened, then she gulped.

"S-Sting..."
