My breath hitches as I pull up outside the sexy blondes and I check my surroundings in fear that someone I know may catch me and the blonde fooling around. That's when I begin thinking to much into this scenario. For all they know, we're just two friends.

I mean... that's all we are right? I don't even know what we are. Whether we are exclusively taking things slow or still sneaking about.

I step out the car and lock my car doors, walking up the steps to Emma's apartment. I ring the door bell and stumble for a moment, swinging on my heels and playing with my thumbs like an awkward teen. I then hear the door open and I look up. Speechless.

Emma is stood, in a low cleavage black ribbed body suit with high waisted black ripped jeans and a not-so-stylish red leather jacket, but she makes it work. She looks so effortlessly beautiful. She never shows off any cleavage, so to have the advantage to see this much is a pleasure. She leans in her door way scanning my body and I let slip the little lick of her lips she does, my gaydar is going crazy right now.

"Regina. You look beautiful" she husks, in a low sultry voice.

"I know" I flick my hair and giggle, easing the sexual frustration that I already have after two seconds of seeing her. How am I going to survive through dinner? "And so do you Swan" I wink, walking past her.

She closes the front door and let her lead the way, after all I am the guest. She takes my coat and my bag and places them in the hallway. She then leads me to her kitchen and offers me a glass of her finest wine. I smirk at the anxious blonde and accept the wine. I can tell she doesn't do this often. She is frantically pacing between the oven, her glass of wine and the radio not knowing what to do next.

"Emma, it's just me. Relax" I coo, placing my hand upon hers and watching as she takes a breath.

"I just want tonight to go well" she blushes. I smile sweetly at her gesture and start a conversation to ease her nerves. Or build her nerves.... I like a fumbling Emma Swan.

"So... Henry said to tell you he said hi" I bite my lip and study her face as she listens to what I said. Her eyes double in size and I can practically see her check beat 10 times quicker.

"What? How does he know?" She shrieks, taking a hefty gulp of her wine.

"Relax, he's a smart kid. He said he likes seeing you happy and he is okay with me and you seeing each other, he said I make you happy" I blush softly, taking a sip of my drink to match her.

"I can't keep anything from that boy" she rolls her eyes. "It's nice that I have his approval. Although, it's awkward me dating his teacher, don't you think?"

"What if I wasn't his teacher?" I question softly, and watch as Emma studies my question. It's as though you can see the clogs working in her head to figure out what I mean by question. "I mean... what if I was no longer the deputy head of Storybrooke High"

"Regina... you can't quit your job. You love working there" she huffs, feeling deflated as though she is forcing me out of my job.

"If truth be told Emma, I hate it. Between Robin and Jefferson. I feel I only got the job because of my looks." I roll my eyes at the thought of Robin and Jefferson thinking they have a chance with me. "And besides, I've been offered a different career"

"You have?" She asks shocked. "Oh no. Is this where I start to fall for you and question my sexuality and you move away for a big job" she sighs.

"Not at all, it's very much the centre of storybrooke" I smile. "Wait? Fall for me?"

Emma blushes massively and it's adorable to see. "I mean... I know I like you and want to have a go at the two of us. Anyway, stop making me embarrassed. What's this job?"

"Dinner smells nice, what have we got?"

"Regina Mills. Stop beating around the bush and tell me" she sternly commands and I giggle at the full name she uses.

"I've been asked to be Mayor of Storybrooke." I slowly draw out and watch yet again, Emma's eyes double.

"What!" She yells. "You are joking Me" I shake my head to show I'm not at all joking and she begins pacing again. "Shit Gina! That's amazing, but how? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I wasn't sure I wanted to." I shrug. "The previous mayor was like a second mother to me. I already live in the mayors house, she kindly let me move in with her, but she found her husband and decided to move into a little lodge with him. I guess because she raised me pretty much, I owe her to try and win the election. I've known for a few weeks and now it's just me and Mr Gold competing. The votes go out tomorrow"

"I can't believe you're just telling me. What?!" She walks over and cups my cheeks with the biggest grin crossing her face. "I'm so fucking proud of you" she grins, leaning down and pecking my lips with excitement.

"So can I count on your vote?" I tease, licking my lips that just had the short but sweet taste of Emma.

"Well that depends..." she winks, pulling the fabric clinging on my chest and guiding me to my feet. She takes a few steps backwards, as I follow with a few steps forward I can't quite guess where we're going.

"Depends on what?" I smirk, as I take in my surroundings and watch as she opens her bedroom door. Now I see where this is going.

"On how well Madam Mayor can rise to the needs of her people of storybrooke" she giggles, and I immediately push her, forcing her back to fall to the bed as I straddle her hips.
