Hi there lovelies! Please enjoy, the music is just for ambience, play it or don't, I just think it fits this part, I think it fits with the "confrontational vibe" of this part! I should warn you, this part is going to be language heavy, so if you don't like swearing, I'd suggest you skip this one. That being said, please enjoy!

Chrollo POV

When I walk into the kitchen, the smell of rice and alcohol reminds me of Y/N's cooking from Meteor City. The homey smells of hot rice and slightly burnt chicken fill the room. I set the ingredients on the counter and she shoos me away, saying she needs the space. I decide not to argue with her, if I intend to ask questions, I need her to be in a good mood, in case things go south. I grab one of the books off the bookshelf and burry my head in the words, reciting the familiar phrases in my head and memorizing the new ones. After an hour, I've read through 3 books, Lord of the Flies, The Giver, and The Jungle. After finishing The Jungle, my stomach is a bit queasy, so I decide to stop reading and talk to Y/N for a bit.

C: "I noticed the loom on the patio, are you gonna make a new rug? Or maybe a tapestry?"

Y/N: "Yeah, I was thinking the one in our bedroom is kind of boring, what do you think I should put on it?"

C: "what about us?"

Y/N: "what do you mean?"

C: "I mean, why not a tapestry of us, or the cottage, something nice to put in our room, something symbolic."

Y/N: "That's a good idea, but I'd need you to get more yarn and thread for me, since that last one took most of my supply."

C: "I can do that, just give me a list and I'll take it to market tomorrow for you.."

She's staring at me, sternly. I quickly bite my tongue, not wanting to ruin my chance at answers. Somehow, I can tell wanting to do errands for her isn't my place. In my mind I realize how sexist that is, but if she wants to do it, she'll do it. I decide to take a shower while I wait, not only because I probably need one, but because hot water only lasts for a while in our house, and I'd rather take a hot shower than a cold one.

C: "I'll take a shower then, unless you need any help."

Y/N: "No, go ahead, I'm almost done, just don't take too long or I'll eat your food for you."

She smiles as she says that, it warms my heart to see her so happy even after all that's happened in the span of mere months. As I walk down the hallway, I think about how weird it is. In the span of 3 years and 4 months, I've left my best friend, and girlfriend alone in what's basically a ghost town, killed numerous people, stolen and re-sold items from a secret auction, almost got killed twice, snuck into a hotel room, almost committed suicide, left the Phantom Troupe, Moved to an island with Y/N, bought a cottage, and almost ruined our relationship multiple times. I turn on the water and run it down my back, it's cold at first, but it starts to warm up after about 30 seconds.

Y/N POV

Something about him is different, maybe it's his attitude, a lot of drama has gone down between us, so maybe he's less stressed. I plate the food and set it on the table. As I wait, I look at the unfinished loom, it's been sitting there for a while. It's starting to get dark now, so I won't be able to finish it.. Chrollo walks out of the bathroom, his hair is still a mess, I don't think he knows how to comb his hair without hurting his head. I'll have to teach him. I hand his food to him, which he starts to eat immediately.
