Hey, so it's been WAY too long since a story update, so we're gonna fix that. But first a quick summary of where I've been and why it's taken forever.
So, updates are slow mostly because of school, now that the school I go to is in person again, I get to spend 4 hours of my day in classes, which is okay. Then, I have sports, band and homework to do. That totals to about 4 hours as well, so 8 hours of my day are cut. Combine that with being at home with my family doing chores and just generally being lazy, I've been kinda booked.
To fix this, I'm going to use the time I get at night to write this story, I'll be able to stay up later on Fridays and weekends obviously, so if something is published at 3 am, you'll know why.
It's been hard to figure out where the story is headed, but I think I have a goal I want to reach, i.e. a stopping point to get the characters to where it can end and I'll be happy about it. I realize some things in the story haven't been explained, like the incident that happened between Chrollo and Y/N when they were younger, I'm planning on fixing this via story dialogue, maybe a flashback scene, which I'll tag so readers know what's happening if it's not obvious. I like the 2,000 word chapters, it may be a little short to some, but I think that pacing is important in writing, not making something long because I think it will please the reader, or too short.
Also, thank you to anyone that's left comments and voted for the story, I really like seeing my stupid little story getting attention and good feedback! So thanks a lot!
I'll try to get a regular update schedule soon, but no promises. I think the story can last probably 2 or 3 more chapters, before it reaches what I call "Plot Finish Line" which is where the plot is too exhausted to continue. But I think these chapters will be as long as they need to be, probably around 2,500 words, maybe more. I'm going to make the finale a separate part to itself, just to give it that final word type beat.
If you have ideas for new stories please tell me! It doesn't have to be HxH, I'll do mha, soul eater, Toilet Bound Hanako Kun, Seven Deadly Sins, JoJo, anything really. Just tell me! I will NOT be writing any smut! That's absolutely final! I don't mind gay or lesbian stories or whatever, but smut is not going to be tolerated!
