Intro: hiya! Welcome to my story, I'll be using C as Chrollo and Y/N for yourself dear reader. Don't worry, this is strictly fluff, but there is a bit of possibly triggering stuff, so I will put 💥 as a trigger warning (self harm, abuse, gore, violence) Anyways, enjoy please, I'll try to make the story interesting for everyone! >Carson

"bring him inside Y/N." Your father tells you, as you pick up the limp boy from the dirt path, his head is wrapped with bandages and covered in blood, but his skin has no cuts or scars on it. You wonder what happened to him as you lay him down on a few potato sacks in your broken down room. You sit back on your heels and remove the bandages from his head. You look at the strange marks on his forehead, the weird cross-shape that looks like it was carved into his head. You get a wet towel and clean the wounds on his head. After a while of laying unconscious, you start to worry about him. you leave the room to go to sleep, intending to check in on him again in the morning .

                                                                           Y/N POV

When I got up this morning, I decided to go check on that boy again, I might be a bit obsessive as my father puts it, but I really want him to be okay. I filled a bowl with water and grabbed a clean towel from a cabinet, as I carried it, I wondered if I should really be doing any of this, "what if he's a criminal?" I think, slightly worried. I opened the makeshift door and nearly drop the bowl and towel when I see him sitting straight up, reading from some book. I didn't even know he had a book on him. I stand in the doorway, too stunned to move. He notices me standing there and says "hello, I'm Chrollo. where am I?" "this is my home, and I'm Y/N" I answer. Chrollo stands up and asks for something to cover the wound on his forehead. I set the bowl and towel down and go to get him some bandages. When I come back, I hand them to him and he wraps the bandages around the wound and pulls little sections of his hair out to cover the bandages on the back of his head. "how did you get those scars?" I ask him, still fascinated at how well he's able to stand without falling. "that's not a scar, it's a tattoo" he points out, explaining to me what a tattoo is. "that's pretty cool!" I say, enthusiastically. "do you have any other books?" Chrollo asks, setting the book he's been reading from down on his makeshift bed. "no..but we could look for some" I tell him, excited to go somewhere outside of my home for once. Chrollo smiles, "let's go get some then" he remarked, his small lips staying slightly grinning. "okay!" I grab his arm and pull him out of the room and down the stairs. "dad! i'm going to look for something!" I yell to my father, who's in the backyard "alright! be careful Y/N!"  I lead Chrollo to the outskirts of town, on the way telling him all about Meteor City. "you lived here your whole life? Doesn't that get boring?" he said curiously. "A little bit, but there's always people like you around that need help!" I smile at him, he smiles back and ponders what i had said. We reach the edge of town and look out at the vast wasteland. Chrollo turns to me, "Do you know what's out there?"
