"And what is the status on Ataraxia?" Loki asked Olivia.
"Taken with little resistance." She replied, sitting next to him on the bench in their quarters.
"How many worlds does that make it?"
"Twenty-four with no signs of slowing down."
Loki smiled warmly as he wrapped his arms around Olivia. She curled into his embrace, resting her head on his shoulder.
It had been a very exhilarating few years and Olivia was enjoying it far more than she probably should be. Still, even though six years had passed, the memories of Midgard still remained fresh. It was too brief a reign, and they were both still bitter about it. Each planet they conquered was another oppertunity in their eyes. But so far, each one had proven to be failures. There was room to be picky, however. There were hundreds upon thousands of planets to choose from, they only needed to be taken first.
"And what does it look like?" Loki asked.
"Probably not the one. It has people, but I just don't get the right feeling from it. We can always keep looking." Olivia replied.
"That's alright. Whatever we find has to be absolutely perfect."
Olivia started to allow her mind to wander off a bit.
"We have access to some of the most powerful objects in the universe, have you ever stopped to think about that?" She asked.
"The Infinity Stones?" Loki asked.
"Yes. Mind and Space. Just imagine it. The two of us, with these Stones... We could level cities."
"Raise armies." Loki added.
"Form mountains with our bare hands."
"Conquer our own planets."
The idea suddenly popped into Olivia's head.
"Conquer Asgard." She said. Loki gave her a slightly amused look, but with skepticism in his eyes. "Come on, there's no chance you haven't thought about it at all. They betrayed us first, then helped to take away everything we had. This would be their comeuppance."
"How? How would we?"
"We have the groundwork. We have an army right at our fingertips. We need only ask. Sure, we may need to wait a while, gather resources, gain even more troops, but it's not impossible. Think of it, Loki." She shifted her position so she was now sat on Loki's lap, her arms wrapped around the back of his neck. Loki smiled thinly as he brushed the hair out of her face. "Think of it, my king. It could all be ours, all of it. Everything we deserve. Everything Odin and the Avengers have denied us. We could take it back."
