Thor looked upwards and to his utter shock and horror, his wayward brother Loki sat upon the throne, leaning carelessly to one side with one leg over the other.
"Loki, what are you doing here?" Thor demanded.
"Can't I just pay a visit to my brother? It's been such a long time, over a decade if my memory serves me right." Loki replied with a clearly fake warm smile.
"It's been twelve years, yes." Thor replied carefully. He didn't trust this. Really, he had no reason to.
"Oh, that's right. Twelve years since you brought Asgard's army and ripped away our kingdom all too soon. That was a little bit rude, don't you think?" Loki replied with a callous tone. "Everything was going fine until you came along."
"If by 'fine' you mean oppressing the mortals like dirty rats for a decade, then it certainly was that."
"Isn't that what mortals are, though? Beneath us?"
"Maybe in your mind." Thor changed the subject. "Why are you here? And why are you alone?"
Loki laughed maliciously as he shifted his position on the throne, now sitting on it sideways.
"What makes you think I came alone?" He asked. Thor stomped forward, only to find he could only get to the first step in front of the throne before being blocked off by an invisible force. Probably one of Loki's spells. Thor could see in Loki's blue eyes a sense of amusement at keeping his brother at bay.
"Loki, where is Olivia?" Thor finally asked.
"Somewhere." Loki replied like a troublesome child trying to bait his parents.
"Is she here?"
"Possibly."
"In the palace?"
"Maybe."
"What's she doing?"
"Something."
"Loki, enough with your games, where is she?" Thor roared.
"You didn't say 'please.' I thought Mother taught us better." Loki grinned.
"Loki!!"
"Why would I go and tell you where my darling little dove is? It's obvious you'd want to hurt her."
"I would like to know so the guards can take her and you back to your cell so you can't hurt anyone else. And this time there's no chance of your escape."
"Neither of us are stupid enough to give ourselves up so easily. But since you're so eager to know, I'll tell you she's right there." Loki said, pointing to Thor's right.
