Fredrick Forrest runs down the streets of Paris at midnight. He was only 11 years and his mother was catching up to him. As soon as he found a portal to an alternate world at the Paris tower. Fredrick had no choice but to go in the portal to run away from his abusive possessive mother. On the other side, Fredrick found a woman dressed in noble clothing asking him why he ran away. He told her he ran from a wild beast. The woman told Fredrick that it was nonsense also he had been gone for three days since he ran from the mansion. This woman looked a lot like his mother, which was a surprise because she seemed so sweet. After the talk, he was taken to a mansion where he was dressed in fancy clothing and was called Duke Fredrick. Fredrick has to choose a woman to marry at his ball that is tomorrow. Fredrick wanted to decline but was told it was a tradition, and he would be made fun of if he did not have a wife at his age. On the day of the wedding, Fredrick woke up to the sound of people rushing to prepare for his wedding. Fredrick was saddened he was not going to marry the one who he loves. He planned to pretend to died and run to the east. Everything went according to plan he also made sure no one was following him. In the east, there is an abandoned village that's been there for 24 years. As Fredrick went through the village he saw a girl about his age. The girl is dressed in white clothing and seemed traumatized. Fredrick was curious about the girl and approached her when he was close enough to see her face. She was a beautiful sight her face shone like the moon and stars. It was about midnight and he had run for almost a month. The girl seemed to take pity on him and gave him some bread. The boy scarfed down the bread as if he were a wolf....
