Then he............. hugged me. I was really confused because of his behavior.
"W-What are you doing?" I asked him.
"Why? Can't I hug my to-be wife?" He pulled away and responded with a smirk on his face.
Did he eat something weird today? I really can't understand him.
I looked away as I was embarrassed because of his words. I could even hear my heartbeat as it's going to explode anytime. I could see his smile from the corner of my eyes.
"So..... Uhm....... you will accept this marriage, right?" He hummed and nodded when I asked him.
"But I heard you are the only child in the family. I mean even if you get married or not, you will inherit the whole company anyway, including the hotel, right? So why would you get into a forced marriage?" I asked the question that was troubling me for the past few hours.
"Oh, that?" He looked around scratching his head and leaned to my ear. "There is a rumor that I am gay-" He said.
"What?" I jumped off the bench as I was startled to hear that.
Oh my god!!! No way!!!!! Did my parents know it? That can't be. I think that's why people gave us strange reactions when we came out of the hotel. What if he brought a boy home saying it's his boyfriend after we got married? 😲😨😱😵
I kept having weird thoughts popping inside my mind without realizing that my mouth was wide open.
"Yah!!!! Close your mouth. Flies will get in. You just thought about something dirty, didn't you?" I came back to my senses when I heard Jimin yelling at me.
"Okay, I changed my mind. Even if I got beat to death, I won't marry you. I'll tell my parents that you are gay. They will understand. It's okay to be gay, but I can't get married to someone like that. I mean-" I kept throwing out the words that come to my mind like a rap until Jimin cut me off by closing my mouth with his hand.
"No. I'm not." He said.
"Then why would there be a rumor? People won't gossip around without a reason, right?" I asked him removing his hands off.
"That's because......... because I never had a girlfriend." He said after pausing for a bit.
"That doesn't explain it. Never having a girlfriend doesn't make you gay." I said before sitting on the bench again.
"Hundreds of girls came after me. But I rejected everyone. They were gold-diggers." He replied. "Let me tell you the whole story. Stop asking questions in the middle. Ask them after I finished talking." He said before continuing the story.
"That rumor even made the company's stock price hit to the bottom. I tried my best to raise it and now it's rising again. But my grandfather, who founded the company heard the rumor and told me to get married to solve the problem. He said the company's reputation is at risk because of me. He said if I couldn't get married within 3 months, he will hand over the company to my cousin. She always wanted to get the company to her. She tried so hard to get married to me. Since she failed to do that, she is the one that informed my grandpa about the rumor. Dad and I don't want her and her parents to ruin our sacrifices of years." He finished the story letting out a deep sigh.
"So do you have any questions now?" He turned to me and asked.
"Are you sure that you are not gay?" I asked him. Everything was clear to me except that.
He shook his head and said, "Do you want me to prove you?"
"How?" I replied back with a question.
"Like this." He said leaning closer to me. He grabbed my waist from one and the other hand was on my cheek. Our faces were inches away. I could feel his breath touching above my upper lip. I looked at his eyes. They were too focused on my lips. He leaned in closer, closer and more closer. Our lips were almost touching.
My brain was telling me to pull him away, while my heart kept telling me to close my eyes and let him kiss me.
