"I'll be back in a week or so, depends on the discussions." Leuca held onto me as we were parting. At least he was, I was stuck in his mansion again.

"I wanna come..." I groaned defiantly. I had begged him for countless times now.

It made him sigh and explain again that he was meeting multiple other Lords. Some tolerated humans, but there were others just like him. Whilst I have captured his heart, the other Lords wouldn't hesitate to kill me. He hates to have me in danger and be on guard constantly. He can't relax when I'm near.

Damian quickly hugged his father as well and then hobbled back to Rayna. She just waved and wished him a safe trip. Addressing him still to his title.

I was expected to stay here. "Before I go I do have good news though. For you at least." He had a particular smirk on his face which made me look at him questionably.

My stare and raised eyebrows made him continue. "The school you dreamed of for human children and vampires will start to be constructed as of tomorrow. Damian told me about his school system so we're using that as well. There are files in my office with suitable teachers, you can filter through them." While Leuca was explaining my smile just grew bigger and bigger.

I jumped into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist while thanking him over and over again. This made me excited!

Because of that, our goodbye wasn't as hard. He hesitated momentarily but returned the hug and even kissed the top of my head. In front of all his nobles. "All of you be on your best behavior and hold down the fort." He scanned his nobles and glared at them quickly. He looked down at me, "You too."

"Best behavior? That's a lot to ask of me." I joked and waved him off again. This time he did get in the car and Wyatt followed. "Bye firecracker!" He waved.

I grumbled at him to stop with that nickname already and then as they drove off I retreated towards the mansion. "A school for humans?" One of the nobles said to the other.

I looked at him and I rarely saw that guy, it was Aziz. The one next to him Dean. I knew those two were troublemakers. They also now glanced at me. He purposely spoke out loud.

"Problems with that?" I spat.

Damian quickly ran to my side (using his abnormal speed) and held onto my sleeve. Rayna also stood at my other side. I was threatening a noble right now and Leuca was nowhere in sight to keep them in check.

Aziz smirked, "You are influencing our Lord too much. He used to be ruthless towards you cockroaches."

Dean also joined in and took a step towards me, "Leuca would never build a school for them if it wasn't for you."

In the corner of my eye, I saw Christina take a step forward so I shook my head. I needed to get some respect around here. I also took a step forward and yanked my arm loose from Damian's grip. I now stood directly in front of Dean who was almost two heads larger than I was.

His green eyes were looking down at me as if I was nothing. "I suggest you get used to it, humans are worth far more than scum like you."

His smile grew now and he leaned in even closer, "insulting me, are you? Pet?"

My hand reacted on its own and I lashed out. My hand collided with his cheek and then my other arm punched him straight into his jugular. Yep already using the move Leuca taught me.

It worked wonders for Dean stumbled back while choking and coughing. "That title along with slaves won't be used for long anymore. Get used to it or leave." I took another step forward and unconsciously Dean took one back.
