Chapter 11

What a day.

First I wake up in the arms of the only boy I have ever wanted. His hands tight around me. Playing with my hair. Giving me kisses. Big hugs. What could be better.

I had to go to classes otherwise I would bring attention to myself about why I wasn't in class and I didn't want Pansy to think that I was to scared to go to class. She wouldn't get the chance to kill me because I would do it first. I have nothing for hatred for her. She is a bitch who wants to ruin everything for everyone.

Draco had said many time he would kill her but I told him not to. I didn't need protecting I just need myself. I know how to protect myself. I'll be ready next time.

Draco never brought up the fire from last night it's like he had forgotten about it. He knew something wasn't right but he knew I wasn't going to tell him just yet. I need some more time.

When I got into the great hall Ruby managed to sit at the Slytherin table without getting caught. Her and Celia both asked me questions about the night with Draco. They're both my best friends so I had to fill them in. I felt happy and not lonely.

I still wasn't used to having friends. I know that sounds really sad but being locked in a castle all your life sort of means I can't see anyone or make friends.

Once we finished breakfast it was time for dark arts. I now officially hate that class I have been tortured so many times by Professor Carrow. He absolutely hates me from how many times I have told him no to his requests of using the Cruciatus Curse on first years so he then used it on me.

Draco told me to stay silent today even if he was wrong because of my injuries and he didn't want him to make them any worse. He sat beside me and held my hand to whole time so I didn't go crazy.

Carrow ignored me the whole lesson and I didn't go nuts. I was so happy. I felt like I deserved a trophy or something. This was the first time I hadn't had a detention in his classes.

The rest of my classes were uneventful and boring like they always are. The last class of the day was at midnight. I had chosen to take Astronomy, which means those classes are late at night. I was not looking forward to that.

Draco was still taking all of the classes he could as his parents wanted him to carry on getting his good grades even in the situation his family was in.

Ruby had told me what happened last year and that he was tasked to kill Dumbledore but he couldn't do it so Snape killed him in the end. His family house is also the headquarters of Voldemort and his Death Eaters which explains why there were so many of them at the party. Voldemort never made an appearance though. Ruby said he is a Death Eater but I don't know what to think, surely he didn't take the mark willingly.

He was just a boy with no choice or I hope.

So here I am laying on my bed waiting for it to be midnight so I can go to class. Celia was fast asleep, she wasn't taking Astronomy this year.

I always loved looking at the constellations in the sky. Another one of the few things I could do being locked in a room. I had a balcony in my room so I would spent my nights looking at different constellations.

My favourite would definitely be Scorpius.

I looked at the clock on the wall and it was 11:50. I decided to leave now so I could get to the Astronomy tower.

It took me forever to get up the steps as I was so tired. What you do for school huh.

As I finally passed the last step the fire was still going filling the silence of the room. The dungeons were always cold. As it's December it's even worse. I had two pairs of socks on a thick jumper and some joggers.

I walked past the sofas and made my way up to the Astronomy tower. I must of been late because Professor Sinistra was already pairing people up.

"Oh, do we not have an even number?" Professor Sinistra exclaimed.

I rushed through the door and put my hands in the air.

"I'm here-" I said out of breath "Sorry I'm late." I apologised.

"Great, Miss?"

"Ivy, Ivy Clarke" I told her.

"Ok you can go with Draco."

Draco was in this class. Of course he was he was taking all the classes he was allowed to take. I walked over to the corner of the room and sat down on the floor with him.

There were no desks in the Astronomy tower but just rugs on the floor. I smiled at him and then Professor started to talk.

"So for your project I would like you to choose your favourite constellations and create a chart on it and make a poster of all the information you have on it. You can get books from the library but I want most of the work from yourself and your partner."

I nodded when she looked around the room to see if we all understood the task and then I turned to Draco, who was already staring.

"What are you looking at?" I asked smirking.

"You" I started to feel my cheeks heat up at that. I turned around and hoped he didn't see my cheeks but it was too late he saw them. He smirked but didn't say anything.

"So what's your favourite constellation?" He asked. I turned back to look at him.

"Scorpius" I answered. It wasn't very hard to find but took me three nights to finally find it. It has many bright stars which makes it stand out and easy to find.

"Really?" He wondered.

I nodded at his question. I smiled directly at me.

"That's my favourite as well, I always thought it would make a lovely name as well. I was named after a constellation." He stated.

I smiled right back at him. How could we both have the same favourite constellation.

We got our stuff together and looked at the stars until Professor ended the lesson. Once we finally got back to the Slytherin common room, which I still do not say the password to unlock, it was 1:40 in the morning. I could just sleep on the floor right now I was so tired.

Most of my cuts had healed after Draco gave me a potion to help with it. I still had a load of bruises but they only hurt if I put pressure on them.

I smiled and said goodnight to Draco.

"Do I not get a goodnight kiss?" He smirked.

I just laughed and walked up to him. I didn't go for the kiss but just lent in and teased him. I stayed there for a while whilst I made him angry. I laughed and turned back around.

He grabbed my wrist and pulled me into his chest. He did the exact same as I did but then kissed me passionately not letting go of my body. His mouth tasted like mint and strawberries. My legs felt weak from the powerful kiss. I had to stop because a light was shining it my eyes.

When I pulled away it disappeared. I looked at Draco and he looked at me back. I was confused about what the light had been. He took my hands and kissed them and then my head.

He left me confused on the sofa where I fell asleep.
