Only Hope

It was finally Christmas and my birthday. I always hated that my birthday was on Christmas.

I had many reasons to hate it:

1. It was never my special day like everyone else's birthday. I never wanted to be ungrateful but it was her birthday but everyone was always to busy to sort out the Christmas dinner or present that nobody really gave a shit about me.

2. Christmas is the biggest holiday of the year.

3. Most people just forget that it's even your birthday because it Christmas.

4. Most people have a gap between their birthday like Micheal, who's birthday is in June, so he get 6 months in between but no it's on the same day.

5. You can't do anything! Everything is shut and it's normally snowing so you can't go very far.

So those are the reason I hate my birthday!

Ruby had woken me and Celia up early so we could do gifts. I decided to not tell them it was my birthday so one they wouldn't feel bad and two because would try and do something for it and I really didn't want that.

Ruby handed me and Celia the presents from her. She gave two to me and three to Celia. Celia opened hers first.

She got a necklace and earrings to match. She also got a pink pj set.

I opened mine next and Ruby had gotten me a set of spell books so I could do some research on my magic and other spells. Micheal never got back to me and i sent the letter 5 days ago. I hope he got it. The other present was a beautiful snow globe of the woods and three girls hugging. I was guessing it was all of us. Me in my green coat, Ruby in her beige coat and Celia in her pink one. I shook it and the fake snow started falling just like it was outside.

Celia got me a muggle book called Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë and a silver bracelet.

I got Celia a baby punk note book for school and a few gold rings.

I got Ruby a knew navy green coat and Firewhiskey for shots later. I had a even better surprise for her later though.

I was making breakfast in the kitchen whilst Celia and Ruby were reading through letters from their family's. It didn't make me sad the only person I really missed was Micheal but he had more important things to do. Whilst the food was cooking I opened the kitchen window and the snow kissed my face. It was beautiful outside. I always loved snow and winter overall. I love summer but something about winter is just so nice.

I walked back to the stove and flipped the pancake and waited to take it out the pan. I was getting quite good at cooking now. I wasn't a chef but I was skilled cook.  I got the plates out of the cupboard I closed the door and sitting on the counter was a brown owl. I dropped the three plates on the floor I jumped so much. I never liked jump scares.

"Are you alright Iv?" Ruby yelled.

"Yeah I'm fine I just dropped something" I yelled back.

That was Micheal owl. I took the letter from Nelly, Michaels owl, I never knew what made him call her Nelly. I gave her a bit of the failed attempt of a pancake to her and then she went back out the window and flew into the sky. I opened up the letter in a rush to see what it said.

Dear Ivy,

Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday. Where are you staying over the Christmas holidays or you still at school? I have some information but I don't know if you're going to like it.

Many rumours are going around that you-know-who is looking for someone. I think that someone is you. I hate to bring it up but that night we were in the woods playing it with Toby. I saw him. He was coming for you. He knows something and I need to find it out. My people say there is a Prophecy just like the one Harry Potter found in the Ministry in his fifth year. It's about someone. Dumbledore told me never to speak of what Harry had found but that Prophecy said Harry was marked as an equal and was able to kill the Dark Lord. But there's something else. The new Prophecy states their is another, with great powers. It's a she. That she is you or that's what Dumbledore told me before he died. You need to stay away from anyone that is close to him because if he finds you he will either kill you or use you.

You're in danger. Your powers are special unlike nothing anyone has heard of before. You and Harry are our only hope of a better life. Harry can't do this alone. Harry is trying to find Horcrux's these are parts of  Voldemort's soul. Once they destroy them all he can be killed. Harry needs you. Dumbledore only gave Harry some information about you. He knows who you are and that you can help Dumbledore told him about the Prophecy about you so if you do find him make sure you stay with him. He knows nothing of your magic but you two can kill Voldemort. Harry can't do it alone Voldermort's to strong but that night in the forest you showed him something you, are stronger than him and with Harry you can easily defeat him.

You are stronger than him Ivy. Your powers are not as powerful as his and he knows that. He will hunt you down. You need to stay away from danger. I am trying to get in contact with Harry but I've heard nothing from him. Like I said if you do find him give him this letter so he knows everything. This is everything Dumbledore told me.

Hogwarts won't be safe when you go back. Voldermort knows you are there and he wants you gone. Stepping a foot in that castle is suicide. Do not go back , I'm begging you. I don't want to lose another sibling, you're all I have left. Find Harry, help him, then kill Voldemort.

Harry and I were the only people who could end this. He knows who I am but nothing of how powerful I am. I can't go back to Hogwarts either. I'm going to have to tell Celia and Ruby. My next job is to find Harry. I know nothing of him. I've never met him and he's never met me. How am I supposed to find him?

I have to do this now.
