Forbidden Forest

Chapter 24

When we arrived back at the castle nobody was in the courtyard. I couldn't see anyone. The castle was destroyed and flames were still burning.

"Where is everybody?" Hermione asked.

We walked through the doors of the great hall and saw crying people, dead people and injured people. It was silent most people were just whispering or sat alone. The one thing I could see was the whole Weasley family crowding around someone. People were crying hugging and all the things you do when someone's died. I walked over to see one of the twins laying on the floor. I had never spoken to them before and I most certainly can't tel the different between them.

Just seeing this made me cry. I didn't even know them and I was upset. On the floor was Lupin and his wife Tonks nearly holding hands. I knew that they had just had a child, a son to be exact, what's going to happen to him?

I was looking around for a curtain blonde boy in the hall but before I could spot him he spotted me.

"Ivy! Ivy! Merlin Ivy you're alive!" Draco shouted. I turned around and saw him running over to me. He help me tight as I was crying. I had gone weak and ended up crumbling to the floor. I couldn't take this. Nobody should have to go through this, nobody. I don't know how long I was sitting there but I was close to falling asleep in Draco arms. He kept kissing my head and caressing my cheeks, wiping my tears away. I couldn't let go of him. I buried myself in his chest still crying.

I looked up a few times to see if Ron was doing any better. He wasn't. He was absolutely broken by his brothers death. I don't know how you could survive that much pain.

I finally got the strength to get up off the floor. Draco helped me up and wrapped his arm around my waist just in case I collapsed again. I looked around the room again when I spotted my brother more to say brothers. Alex and Micheal were standing by the doors of the great hall. More tears fell from my eyes.

My brothers are here, and they're alive. I moved away from Draco and bolted to the doors. I ran straight into Micheal's arms he was shocked at first but then he realised it was me. He was much taller than me so my head only reached his shoulders. He wrapped his arms around me and held my head. I cried in his arms wishing this could all be over but one of us had to go to Voldemort. He knows that we have to kill him together so he wants one of us to live so that we feel the pain that we are unable to kill him.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

"What can I say, the Dark Lord wants to kill me and all my friends, I love someone who is on his side or I don't know what side he's on anymore and if one of us die tonight that means we have failed and we can't kill Voldemort" I answer.

"What do you mean you love someone on the other side? Ivy tell me that's not true. Who is it?"

Before I could even answer I heard Draco begin to speak.

"Me"

"Draco Malfoy, really?"

"Yes" I say. "I love him and that's not going to change, ever!"

I step away from him and take Draco's hand.

"I'm sorry I'll be back in a minute"

"Where are you going?" Alex asked. I hadn't even said hello to him yet.

"For a walk" I tell him. "I love you all"

I walk straight out the hall and walk around the school. After walking for 20 minutes I saw Harry, Hermione and Ron at the bottom of one of the staircases.

"Hi guys" I make my presence known.

"Ivy" Hermione says and she walks up the steps to hug me. I hug her back and walk over to Harry.

"I'm going, Harry you can't go, you're the chosen one I'm just the one with powers you might actually have a chance on killing him"

"Ivy no! None of you are going" Ron states. "You can't give yourself up to him"

I was going to open my mouth but Harry spoke before me. "There is a reason I can hear them, the Horcrux's, I think I've known for a while and I think you have too."

"Harry no." I tell him. "We'll go together"

"No, kill the snake, then you just have to kill him, you can do that Ivy, I know you can"

I run up to him and give him a huge hug. This isn't ok. I can't let him do this. Hermione hugged him next. Then he left us. Harry was going to die. That was the last I was going to see of him. Now it's up to me. I'll do it for Harry.

3 or 4 more chapters left until I would of finished this book. This would be the first one I would of finished. Next stories cast will be out tomorrow. X
