Chapter 14
______
I stayed with Ruby and Celia for the night and then I decided to set out early in the morning. I didn't know where I was going to go but I had to look for Harry.

I wasn't going to tell Ruby or Celia where I was going or what I was doing because it would be to hard and they would try and change my mind. I could face them. I gave Ruby her surprise after breakfast on Christmas. Celia helped me get in contact with Mason Jones. I asked him if he would come over on Christmas and surprise Ruby. He said yes and also said he has been desperate to see her since the ball in the summer.

I set up mistletoe in the door way so when she opens it they have to kiss. In all the books I've read at Christmas they always kiss under the mistletoe, you have to.

When he arrived I sent her to the door and like I imagined they looked up and the mistletoe and they kissed. They were so cute and I had never seen Ruby smile so much. They were out most of the day so I spent some more time with Celia.

I went to sleep that night thinking about what I was going to do. Once they were both asleep I grabbed a sheet of parchment from my bedside table and began to write.

Dear Ruby and Celia,

I'm so sorry I'm not there to say goodbye. As you are my best friends you deserve an explanation. I have to do something important. I can't tell you what that is but I will not be returning to Hogwarts. It is to dangerous for me. You-know-who is looking for me. I have to find someone and that I have to do alone. I don't know how long I'll be gone but I love you both. Please tell Draco that he is the best thing in this world that could of ever happened to me and that I love him. I could die in this mission but I just wanted to say that. If I do die don't cry over me. Live your lives this should all be over soon. I make that a promise.

Love Ivy x

I got some sleep and then left at sunrise. I had packet a bag and put an extension charm on it. I had packed food that would last me 2 months, my books, all my clothes and blankets.

I got outside and I was wearing a coat thick fluffy joggers and t-shirt under my jumper. I went to many pubs to see if they were staying there, woodlands. Where could they be. I had spent the day looking so I decided to call it a night. I went to a pub and stayed in there room. As I was sitting at the bar I saw a recognisable ginger. He stuck out like a saw thumb and not his hair.

He had a wand in his hand. That couldn't be, could it? I walked up to him and introduced myself.

"Hi" I smiled. This was strange he probably thought I was quite weird just talking to a stranger

"Unless you're giving me free food then leave me alone." He groaned. Great!

"Nope but I can help you, Ron Weasley right"

I had heard his name in many conversations before. His sister was still going to Hogwarts.

"How do you know my name? Are you a Death Eater? You look like a Malfoy. Kill me already if you are."

"No I'm not a Malfoy. I'm not a Death Eater and I don't want to kill you." I answered his questions.

"Where's Harry I need to find him" I asked. This was good I knew Ron was best friends with Harry and Hermione I just needed to find them.

"I left them" He stated. What?!

"No. Please say that's a joke. I need to find Harry" I exclaimed.

"Why do you want Harry so bad? Who are you anyway?"

"I'm Ivy Clarke" Before I could answer his first question he stopped me.

"Harry said a lot about you. You're the girl that can help." I nodded to his statement.
