Room of Requirements

Chapter 22

The war had began, the portraits were empty and students were rushing around the school, some shouting, screaming and crying. Harry and I were looking for the Horcrux and Ron and Hermione went to the chamber of secrets to destroy the cup. We were going to Ravenclaw common room as we had to start somewhere and it was the only place we thought it might be. Harry gave them both the map so they could find us after they destroy it.

We kept running but all I could hear was Luna's voice shouting for us. Harry decided to ignore it and keep running. A protective barrier was forming around the school to delay Voldemort's arrival. The dementors couldn't get in and had vanished from the sky's.

"Harry, Ivy wait I need to talk to you" Luna told us.

Harry still didn't stop. "I'm a bit preoccupied at the moment"

"You're wasting your time"

"Look we'll talk later" Harry stated.

"Harry!"

"Later!" He snapped back.

"Harry Potter! You listen to me right now"

He stopped in his tracks, so did I. I had never heard her raise her voice before.

"Don't you remember what Cho said about Rowena Ravenclaw's diadem? There's not a person alive who's seen it. It's obvious isn't it?"

"We've got to speak to someone who's dead" Luna and I said at the same time. Of course why didn't I think of that. The barrier lit up the sky and the three of us watched from the window.

"It's very impressive isn't it" Luna observed.

We walked all the way to where the Grey Lady was. Luna suggested that Harry talk to her alone so Luna went on her way and I waited for him to come back. I hope he finds it.

All of a sudden the barrier started to explode. They were here, they're about to attack. Millions of spells hitting it over and over again. Harry came running out and bolted straight past me. I followed behind.

"Harry, where is it? What did she say?" I yelled down the corridors.

"The room of requirements! That's where it's hidden." He answered.

We rushed to the 7th floor, down stair and through busy corridors. After pushing through many students and tripping over my own feet we finally got to the 7th floor. I don't really have a clue what the room of requirements are but I trust Harry knows what he's doing. He paced up and down the corridor until a door appeared on the wall.

Before we could enter Harry fell to the ground. Hermione and Ron did it. I went to him and checked if he was alright. I put my hand out and he grabbed it. The Death Eaters had arrived. Yells and screams could be heard everywhere. Students were running for their lives.

The room was filled with junk people had got rid of in the past years. How were we ever going to find the Diadem in here?

"Can you feel it? Is it here?" I asked.

He didn't even answer but just kept wondering around the room. He stopped and looked at a table full of rope, boxes, a metal globe and many other thing. He started to walk towards it and under the rope was a box. He opened it slowly and it revealed Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem. Harry began to pick it up and I was admiring some things in the room when I heard a familia voice.

"Well well what brings you here Potter?"

It was Draco. I looked round the cornerman it was Draco, Blaise and Goyle. I never really called him Gregory, it didn't feel right .

"I could ask you the same" Harry replied.

I decided to step out from the tower of chairs and stand next to Harry. Blaise's and Draco's smirks turned into a frown when they saw me. Their wands were all pointed at us, Draco didn't even put it down.

"You have something of mine, I'd like it back" Draco said coldly.

"Draco stop" I tell him.

"Be quite Ivy" He muttered. "This has nothing to do with you"

"Actually yes it does, Harry doesn't have your wand, I do" I say.

"What's wrong with the one you have" Harry cut in.

"It's my mother's it's powerful, but it's not the same doesn't quite understand me, know what I mean." He answers.

"This is stupid" I shout.

"Why didn't you tell her, Bellatrix? You knew it was me, you didn't say anything" Harry wondered changing the subject yet again.

"Come on Draco, kill them" Goyle whispered. Draco did nothing. "I'll do it for you then Avada Kedavra!"

I ducked just before it hit me. Hermione came out of nowhere and shot a couple of spells at them making them flee. Goyle tried one more time to kill Hermione this time but missed her completely.

Ron charged at them with his wand shouting "That's my girlfriend you numpty!"

I looked at Hermione, confusion all over meh face.

"I'll tell you later." Hermione laughed.

Harry began climbing the mountain of furniture trying to find the Diadem that he must of accidentally thrown up there when he fell over. Hermione and I followed also climbing it. Pixies flew out some of the holes in the sofas and into the room. We had to adjust some furniture but Harry got the Diadem.

We heard yells from Ron as he ran away from something he grabbed Hermione's hand and ran even faster. Harry and I both saw a fire dragon coming our way so we ran as well.

"Ivy do something!" Harry shouts.

"Harry I have fire powers not fucking water powers, if I did I would of done something by now!" I screamed whilst running away from the dragon. We all were being chased around. I got split up from the three but found myself crashing into Ron and Hermione in the middle of the room. Harry found us as well but we were cornered. Ron fell back into some brooms which with his quick thinking he passed us one each.

We all took off into the sky of the room escaping the fiery floors below. As we were flying I saw Blaise and Draco standing on top of the mountain of tables. Goyle was nowhere to be seen. When I looked back they had fallen and they were holding on for dear life.

"We can leave them, they're my friends!" I yell at them all. "We have to go back"

"She's joking right?!" Ron shouts.

We all turn back to help them. Harry went for Blaise and I went for Draco. I tried to grab his hand but I missed so did Harry we turned back again and this time we got them. Draco gripped onto my waist and hugged me tight.

"Thank you, thank you, I love you" He kept repeating.

"Let's get you out first shall we!" I tell him.

Hermione was in front and split the fire so we could fly through and we made it but we got thrown off the broom and onto the floor. I rolled over and then realised I had a shard of glass in my arm. It must of been all the adrenaline because I couldn't feel a thing.

Draco was panting on the floor beside me and the Diadem was the the other side. I grabbed the fang from the floor and stabbed it. I just destroyed a Horcrux! A puff of smoke went into corridor and Draco saw what was going on and through it into the fire just as the doors closed.

Harry was knocked back and I layed on the floor.

I could see Voldemort in my mind again. This time he was terrified. I saw a snake next to him, that must be it, the last Horcrux, it's the snake.

"It's the Snake!" We both shout.

"The snake is the last one" Harry adds.

"Look deeper, find out where he is and then we can end this." Ron tells us both.

Harry and I both close our eyes and try and look deeper. I wasn't having much luck all I saw was water boats and Draco's dad, Voldemort wanted Severus. Lucius was telling him to stop the attack and just find us both but he wanted us to come to him.
