I rummaged through my trunk, more than half of my items were in my mokeskin bag by now. I groaned and crossed my arms with a heavy sigh. "What's wrong Raylona?" I closed my trunk and sat on my bed. "I can't find my lunascope, I need it for astronomy." Wednesday formed an O shape with her lips. "I don't think I have a spare, did you try Accio?" I shook my head no." I think that would call any moon scope in the room." I looked in my now empty nightstand, not there. I lifted up my blanket and peered under my bed. There it was. Why was it under the bed? It's possible it was because I fell asleep while doing homework one night. I added it to my mokeskin bag. "I found it." I sat on my bed and got my school bag ready for today. "Raylona, could you... Do something for me." Wednesday came and sat down beside me. "What is it?" Wednesday twirled her wand. "Could you get into the restricted section for me? Your sixteen now and I think, you wouldn't need permission... I mean you could ask Madame Pince if that's true or not but if it's not I'd need you to sneak into the restricted section." My brows furrowed. "Why would you need to get into it anyway?" Wednesday sighed. "I'm trying to get my hands on a book called: Healing without Bandages. I want to heal people when I'm older, it would give me a head start and I would of course be willing to give you something in return." I pondered it for a moment. A second visit to the restricted section, I could use some more books myself. "How about you owe me a favor?"
"A favor? What kind of favor?" I shrugged. "Just if I ever need a distraction or for you to come up with an excuse with a teacher, something like that." She was silent before nodding her head. "Alright, I'll do it." I slid my school bag over me and made sure my wand and mokeskin bag was in my robe pocket. "How soon do you need it?" Wednesday smiled. "As soon as possible." I would have to prepare, I was out of nightshade essence and if I was going to get back into the restricted section I would need Filch and his menacing cat out of my way. It wouldn't hurt to grab some more books for myself as well. I had two options for the nightshade, one was to buy some more outside of school, or two...Steal from Snape's personal stores. Since Dumbledore was gone, I was low on money. So it would also be a good idea to wait til the weekend to go snooping. I would need detention and a hope of organizing his stores. For now, I had to get to breakfast and then prepare for my impending doom in Snape's class. Me and Wednesday walked side by side to the Great Hall, where students were cheering.
Only it wasn't something good that they were cheering for. A large crowd surrounded people who were fighting. Professors angrily sat by and watched while the headmistress sat and sipped her tea while holding one hand up, she wanted it to happen. We made our way to the Gryffindor table, Fred stood looking worried yet angry at the same time, and George was nowhere to be seen. "Fred? Where's George? What happened?" Fred crossed his arms. "Your sleazy Slytherin friend Jackson picked a fight with him cause he heard a rumor he liked the same girl as Jackson. What a git!" I turned towards Wednesday who had her hand clasped over her mouth in shock. I sighed and tried to drown out the noise, I ate in silence. It's not that I wasn't worried about my friends. I was. I also didn't want to take sides. I know Wednesday would without a doubt take Jackson's side, she had a severe crush on him especially since he was available. I looked around and it seemed like the time went on forever. The professors got restless. Umbridge had not.
She simply drank her tea and watched the entire mess go on into chaos. McGonagall broke the fight up and the other professors made everyone sit down. "Enough! You two! To the hospital wing! Since there are no more points to take from Gryffindor, 500 points from Slytherin for this massive scandal. I will escort you myself. Mr. Weasley will receive detention. Now, on with you both!" McGonagall did exactly as she had said. Pretty much every house was depleted of house points except Slytherin since they kept rewarding themselves with points and I mean mountains of points.
I don't think Snape liked that, seeing as he couldn't take points except from his own house. "Oh Raylona, I better go see if Jackson's ok... " Fred seemed to tense up at this. "Um... Maybe see how George is too. He is a good friend and I'm sure they can sort this squabble out, ok?" Fred relaxed a bit and bit his tongue. Wednesday took off with a bagel and muffins. I shook my head and sighed. The rest of the hall was whispering but Harry's group was quiet. It wasn't any secret that Gryffindor and Slytherins didn't get along, we all knew it. I had a feeling they all wanted to talk about the fight and probably talk bad about Jackson, but I was here and I was both of their friends. "It's ok guys, I don't really know who started the fight and I'm sure it was a stupid fight. I just hope that they're both ok." They nodded in agreement. They all began talking about quidditch except for Fred who left the Great Hall as well, he had an irritated look on his face and no one could blame him, the headmistress had let the fight go on. He had to watch his brother fight.
