I ran my hands through my hair, feeling my fingers get stuck on the small curls

"I just don't know what to do clay... what if he doesn't like me like that.. My online persona is so much different, i'm not as interesting in real life-"

Before i could speak again, a warm hand made its way to my shoulder, lovingly rubbing it in an attempt to calm me down
"Y/N, Nick is going to love you. I know you don't know him like i do, but i can tell when he really is happy with someone, and he's definitely made that clear whenever he is with you- even your fans see it Y/N! They wouldnt ship you guys unless they genuinely saw something from both of you!"

"They ship you and georg-"

"Shut up"

We both smiled at the stupid reference to our other friend before sighing, and allowing the living area to fill with silence. I had grown a crush on Nick a few months ago, something about his smile made my stomach erupt into thousands of butterflies. This was around the time that our fans had begun to ship us, I used to watch the edits, the videos, the " Y/N falling in love with Nick for 10 minutes" compilations... and it made it so clear to me. I was in love with this boy, and it felt like everyone knew except for him

Clay and i had met a few years ago, i had posted a youtube video where i had beat his fastest speedrun by a mile, and to say he was impressed would be an understatement. He never stopped praising me for my time on twitter, and eventually, I was sent a dm inviting me to the SMP. From then on, George, clay, myself, and sapnap became inseparable. We were the dreamteam.

After talking for about 2 years, the boys and I decided to finally move in together, or at least try to. We all decided to meet in Florida since we knew that it was less likely for people to recognize us considering Clay already lived in the middle of nowhere. I had decided to fly in earlier this week, but the boys were all flying in today, Nick being the first to land and George being much later. It was 9:30, meaning Nick would be here in just a few minutes. The anxiety in my chest began to build, and my leg wouldn't stop shaking. I was a mess.

A knock sounded from the front door, and clay shot up from his seat, excited to see his dear friend. I watched as he ran to the door, sliding slightly due to the socks he was wearing. He quickly threw the door open, pulling the other boy into a hug

A goofy giggle sounded from the door and a familiar voice spoke
"Holy shit clay! Dude ur fucking tall!"

I smiled at the sound, and rose to the feet, walking towards the door. The two boys pull away from each other, and suddenly i was making eye contact with the one person that i was scared to see

"Y/N!"
He smiled brightly, rushing towards me, wrapping his arm around my torso as he lifted me up and spun us around

"N-Nick"
I could barely stutter out his name as he sat me back onto the floor, and held me cheeks in his hands

"Look at you! I didn't think you could be any more gorgeous than you already were, but god..."
He smiled, our faces only inches from each other.

Before he could say anything more, I felt confidence fall over me and suddenly his lips were on mine. At first we were both frozen in shock, but before I could pull away and apologize, his hands moved back to my hips, pulling me closer to him, and deepening the kiss. After a few seconds we pulled away to take a breathe, and I pulled him into another hug, my head now nestled into his warm chest

"I'm so glad that you're here Nick"

I could hear his heart speed up through the sweatshirt that he was wearing, the sound was soothing

"I really missed you"

"I missed you more darlin"

"Ok this is cute and all, but I'm really feeling like a third wheel-"

"Sorry clay"
