"Austin this isn't fair! Tell schlatt to shut the fuck up! I wanna hear Y/N!" I chuckled at the sound of the loud girl as I flipped Schlatt off through the screen, a wide smirk taking over my tired lips as I did so
"Shut up broad, i am wa-" We watched as Austin instantly muted him, afraid of what offensive words he would say next
Austin's eyes widen in shock and relief. I could see Schlatts mouth move as he angrily ranted, his words no longer filling the call
I found myself smiling again, rethinking how I had been invited to join a few fellow streamers on the twitch show "Love or Host"
Despite not being even half as popular as the other streamers that went against me in the hopes of winning Minx's love, I somehow made it to the final two, an achievement that Twitter would be hearing all about as soon as I was done with the recording
"Now that the whiney cunt is gone, how are you doing Y/N" I smiled at Minx's flirty behavior, the familiar feeling of butterflies erupting in the pit of my stomach

"Hey Broads! I'm still here ya know? Calm down on all the lesbian shit will ya?" Schlatt's booming voice interrupted the call, annoyance dripping from his lips and a disgusted look on his face
As he spoke a chain of #lesbeanshit Were suddenly spammed into the chat, the sight encouraging laughter from all of us
Minx on the other had began to yell back at the boy, her thick accent making her words less and less understandable as she got angrier, the mixture of her Irish dialect with schlatts New Yorker slang made the call sound like a war zone
The two went on for a while, bickering about unrelated topics as some of the past contestants like Mia and kacey rejoined to express their opinions before an annoyed sigh broke the chaos
"God damnit Austin can i make my final choice now" Minx has finally pulled away from her talk with Schlatt, her cheeks red from having yelled just a few seconds before
"uhhm, yeah i guess. Ok chat Minx is going to now send me her final choice! Who will she pick?"
I felt my cheeks heat as Austin's mischievous chuckles filled the zoom call, we all knew what the results were gonna be, but hearing the words from his mouth was something that made me wanna curl into a ball and disappear
It was no secret that I had a crush on minx, the two of us constantly flirted on Twitter and through streams, but being publicly invited to express my middle school crush for the girl in front of 250k people was something that made my stomach fill to the brim with nervousness
"Well chat, this definitely isn't a surprise. The Winner of Love or Host is..... Y/N!"
I jokingly began to cheer, rubbing my victory in schlatts face, but deep down my heart was pounding loudly in my ears
"Y/N choose... LOVE"
Minx let out an excited squeal as she spun in her chair, Austin covering his ears in annoyance
"Of course she did Austin, we're basically soulmates"
