A/N: this is kinda long and was supposed
to actually be apart of a fan fic I'm currently
writing, but I thought it would be good
by itself !!

pt.2 to this soon!

I had been sitting on my ass all day. Despite the burning urge in my stomach telling me to get up and paint or do anything even remotely productive, I just couldn't.

It was well into the afternoon, the clock teasingly moving to 2 o'clock and I was still sulking in my empty, cold bed.

"Clementine..."

Silence.

I waited for a moment, beginning to grow impatient. As I stood up, wincing at the feeling of the cold air on my legs and the disgusting feeling of the freezing tiles, i noticed how sad my PC set up looked.

I had begun streaming about a year ago, and I was close to almost 1 million subscribers, despite the fact that I never ever streamed. At first all I received was hate, many people questioning my true feelings toward streaming due to my lack of effort, but in the end I knew that my fans understood the severity of my mental illness.

I looked away from the desk, making a mental note to stream later before walking out of my room and into the hall of the apartment

"Clem?"

I continued into the living area, looking for the small tabby cat. After about 10 minutes of searching, I stood back and took a look around the room, my stomach dropping as I did. I could feel tears begin to build in my eyes before suddenly a knock sounded from my door, moving my mind away from the missing cat and becoming more interested in who could possibly be bothering me at this time.
I cautiously walked to the door before placing an ear up to it and listening for any clues as to who it could be. Sure, i was depressed, but i sure as hell wasn't stupid, and i had watched too many true crime video to just open the door up to a stranger.

After attempting to get any insight on who may be outside, I gave up and swung the door open, coming face to face with someone I never thought I'd see.

"Uhh hey.. I'm your neighbor and uhhh I think this is your cat?"

I looked at the boy in front of me, in utter shocked, before looking down into his arms. There sat the black cat, her body curled into his arms, and light purrs coming from her mouth as he mindlessly rubbed circles into her fur
