A/N: this is definitely one of my favorite imagines so far
ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)つ──'☆*:please read:
please please PLEASE refrain from commenting about y/n's height or any other features i use to describe y/n!
as you all know this is a "x reader" fic, and i made it this way so that any and everyone could read this and feel included and beautiful!
as a small poc woman i totally understand the struggles of reading fanfics that describe a perfect white, skinny, blonde woman and i try my hardest to stray away from stereotypes.
that being said, in most of these chapters you'll notice that y/n is often vaguely given more poc features like curly hair and y/n goes through real mental health struggles and i think that's how all fan fics should be :)
with all that being said, y/n can be a he/they/she/xe etc, and any size, shape, or color!
if i ever write something that doesn't apply to you, than just change it! you have an imagination for a reason!
seeing all these comments about not being exactly what y/n is stresses me out so much, and i promise i try to make y/n as inclusive as possible.
thank you, and I apologize.
The chair wobbled dramatically under me as I reached up to place the silver tinsel onto the door frame. I gasped loudly, gripping onto the wall in front of me tightly, before stabling myself, and continuing to decorate.
I knew that I was being extra but this year marked the first official Christmas that I would be spending in the same house as my boyfriend Schlatt, and I wanted it to be perfect. We had moved in together just 4 months ago after spending the first 2 years of our relationship 2,919.3 miles away from each other. We had decided that the distance was absolutely unbearable and so we found a beautiful two story apartment in California and moved in together.
Schlatt had left to meet up with Ted just a few hours ago, and so while he was gone I planned to turn the apartment into a winter wonderland. I had tinsel, fabric, glitter, and just about everything else that you could decorate with and it seemed to all be coming together... well until I had to hang stuff up.
I wasn't necessarily short, but compared to my 6'3 boyfriend, I was an ant. I was barely 5'3, making hanging things on our very high walls and ceilings almost impossible, even when I was standing on a chair and pushing my body up to my tippy toes.
