"Hey chat! I missed you guys!"
I smiled at the camera, lightly clicking the keys to open up minecraft.
I had started streaming just 4 months ago, but hit it off almost immediately, gaining just about 26k twitch followers, and despite that seeming small, it meant the world to me.
"Ok chat, I think we're just gonna have a chill stream today... umm, yeah it seems like no one else is on"
The minecraft loading screen blinked back at me as I sat and watched chat for a moment. The messages moved quickly, and I could hardly keep up, until suddenly only one thing was being spammed.
"DREAM IS IN CHAT!!!"
I sighed confused and slightly annoyed that the chat would pull this shit again.
"Chat that's not funny you assholes" I mumbled, and loaded up the world, trying my hardest to not look back at my chat. I had become a huge fan of dream and his friends about a year ago, they were the reason I began streaming, and if i was being completely honest, i had grown a huge crush on dream, which my chat knew and teased me endlessly about.
Once the world generated, I began my speedrun like usual, humming to a song that had been stuck in my head all week. It had been just about 10 minutes in, and i had already gone mining for iron, and was on my way to the nether. I groaned loudly again, looking around the world for a lava pool.
"Chat, Did you guys see a lava pool anywhere?"
I waited for the messages to roll in, looking to see what a majority of people were saying until a sudden robotic tone filled my filming room, and made me jump back so far I thought I was gonna fall out of my seat.
" DREAM donated $100
You passed one about five minutes ago, i think it was just past the trees on your left "
I paused for a moment, than spoke
"Holy shit, thank you for the dono! I can't tell if you're the real dream or n- actually i don't know what i'm saying... the real dream wouldn't even watch my streams- either way, thank you so much!"
I cursed at myself for talking so much, then moved my character in the way that the dono had said, finding the pool almost immediately. I made my portal just as another dono rolled in

My heart nearly fell out of my body. My cheeks were on fire and my hands began to sweat profusely making the game 10x harder than before. I was nearly in tears from all of the embarrassment, but tried to play it off with a awkward giggle.
" I- wow um, I'm so sorry dream i... uhh, i hope they didn't bother you? ........ Im sorry im like full on panicking right now"

I silently opened instagram, seeing a new dm request from him. I opened the link, and pushed the headset over my ears.
Suddenly his voice loudly came through the speakers
"Y/N?"
I paused barely being able to speak
"Dream?"
He giggled softly at me and spoke once again
"You don't need to be nervous Y/N, i've been seeing you around twitter for the last couple months, and was waiting for an excuse to talk to you..."
I could hear his smile through the phone as he spoke again
"Would you wanna play minecraft with me? It's ok if you're busy or wanna finish the speedrun, but I just... I would like to get to know you"
"Umm... yeah... yeah i would love to, i'm gonna mute real quick so i can talk to my chat, but just dm me when you're ready"
I muted my headset and quickly hid my face in my hands before yelling at chat
"I TOLD YOU GUYS NOT TO TELL HIM ABOUT MY CRUSH YOU SNITCHES"
I took a deep breath before looking at the chat
"Ok.. i'm sorry for yelling but you guys knew how much i like him, and now its like he was forced to talk to me and i don't know what- chat im panicking... What do I do now! He probably thinks i'm a creep-"
dreams voice quickly cut me off
"Y/N, you gotta get better at muting"
He chuckled and spoke once more
"And no need to worry, I- I have a crush on you too"
