Cat Cafe

Walking through the doors of the Cat Cafe, you are met by a lovely waitress who helps you pay for two hours' worth of kitten-filled relaxation. You walk through the second set of doors and are immediately met with several cats wanting attention. You pick one up and head towards an empty couch. You sit down with the cat in your arms as a few more come to rub at your legs. You set the cat down on your lap as you look at the menu, deciding on a latte and a few treats for the cats.

After ordering from a waitress, you look around the cafe, eyes landing on a blob of fur in a nearby chair. You lean forward to get a better view and find there's a man under all the fur. He's smiling softly as about twelve cats surround him and climb on him.

You chuckle at the sight, and he glances towards you, turning red in embarrassment.

You scoot to a closer chair and pick one of the cats off him. "They seem to like you quite a lot," you mention, picking another cat of him and placing it gently on the floor. It looks at you indignantly and struts off to find another victim. You chuckle, returning your attention to the man still quite covered in cats.

He laughs and sighs. "Well, that's what I get for coming here so often. They've come to associate me with food," he says, setting another cat on the floor.

You chuckle again as the waitress brings you your latte and treats. You thank her and sip the latte, savoring the flavor.

You set the latte down and reach your hand out for the man to shake, "My name is Y/N L/N. What's yours?"

He shakes your hand gently, "Shota Aizawa. Thanks for the help, I thought I'd drown," he pauses for a moment, "well, I guess that isn't the worst way to go."

You laugh and pick up the treats you were given, handing a few to Aizawa as you feed one to the cat that had climbed in your lap.

Over the next two hours, the two of you talked. Getting to know each other and just enjoying each other's company. Eventually, a waitress came by to tell you that your time was up. You thanked her and turned to Aizawa, "well, I guess I must be going."

"Yea, I guess so," he replied, looking a little sad.

You quickly wrote something on your napkin, folded it, and handed it to him. "I hope to see you again soon," you said, giving him a wink as you gathered your things and left the cafe.

Aizawa watched you leave and looked down at the napkin. He unfolded it and read the little note you wrote.

"I had a lot of fun.

Call me!

xxx-xxx-xxxx"

He chuckled and quickly added your phone number to his contacts, excited to see you again.
